Jazz has a zillion different voices and timbres. This is miles away from New Orleans, but equally jazzy, The tune is dedicated to the late Joe Pass, who would periodically perform on Parkinson.

I'm probably wrong, but I always thought people who could enjoy jazz were a bit more intelligent, or had brains that could make sense of it!

Years ago I wrote a happy message in the back of one of my childrens school books, which she didnt get to for about a year. She said it was a lovely surprise.

Most jazz to me sounds as if the band is playing all the wrong notes all together.

No "should" about it. I am relaxing and producing these music threads. If people click the links and enjoy the music, then fine, but I am not someone who tries to force my choices on anybody else. It may be that very few people have played the videos.

In time the threads will drift off Active threads and just be in the Other archive. Maybe someone will discover them serendipitously in the future.
