I’ve consulted google and can’t find any reference to Susie Orbach diagnosing Diana as having BPD. Diana’s child hood experiences could have left her vulnerable to BPD but the diagnosis, so far as I can tell, was never officially made. I remember Orbach refusing to discuss her work with Diana. Her specialism was eating disorders and she seems to have helped Diana.

I'm confused ......
If Diana was diagnosed with mental health issues and was having therapy, why did Meghan say in the interview she wasn't allowed to access any help?

I've just looked again at the photo of the family in the Scilly Isles. You would think Charles' publicist would have had the sense to tell him to take off his jacket and given him a pair of bicycle clips for his trousers. No way he was riding that bike dressed as he was. Perhaps that's why Harry has problems. The front presented to the public was completely at odds with his real life. It would leave you with problems.

I quite like the "Megan is a terrible person" posts that come up with predictable regularity. Megan without an "H" of course.

I expect Charles is/was capable of tucking his trousers into his socks once the photo was taken. And the kind of jacket one wears to cycle in is irrelevant unless it makes you too hot. Tweed (if it is tweed) is actually very good as an outdoor cloth – totally breathable (not just pretend breathable like modern plastic stuff) and reasonably waterproof. Besides, if it's pure wool, wool keeps its thermal properties even when wet.

So did my dad, but he always wore his cycle clips, and he never wore a jacket or tie on holiday. Mind this was in the 1950s when leisure wear for men was limited, not the 1980s

Well obviously some people seem quite fixated on it. I mean riding on the back of your dad's bike only counts if you are 1, he is wearing approved clothing and you look happy enough. I mean if a child is feeling grumpy nothing actually happens even if it does.

Yes evidently. We were very remiss as young parents. We cycled everywhere with the children in child seats but without wearing cycle clips. Shock! Horror!

Want to explain what you are wearing and why? I'll start us off, I'm wearing paint splattered trousers and t shirt as I'm decorating, just taking a quick break but decided it wasn't worth changing for a 5 minute sit down.

Seriously does it matter? Harry said he never rode on the back of his dad's bike and photographic evidence seems to prove otherwise. Doesn't really matter if they were both in scuba diving gear or ball gowns.

Re the cycling photo on IOS, I read somewhere that the one of all 4 of them was staged for photographers to send them packing. Maybe Charles just popped out of his study to do it!
The other photos at Sandringham show him cycling with the proper attire.

So what, he said it never happened. He didn't say he hadn't enjoyed being on the back of his dad's bike, he said it didn't happen.

Did you ever do anything with your kids and they didn't enjoy it? We went to the zoo a couple of weeks ago, I remember saying to my husband how sorry I felt for young parents who had paid alot of money to take their kids to the zoo and 90% of them were moaning, demanding icecreams or squabbling with siblings. I'm sure I could have taken photos to "prove" those children were having a terrible childhood but it wouldn't have been good evidence and the parents were doing their best.

Some more knowledge for you: my dad always wore a tie and usually a tweed jacket too. He would have been 93 earlier this year. Charles is a bit younger but his choice of clothes is similar (not that dad wore DB jackets, which are Charles's trademark).

Why do you mind what Charles wears?

I expect people could criticise your choice of clothing (or mine) if they felt bitchy enough ?
