I’ve had my first one but when I saw the doctor about another matter on Thursday she said that I must discuss with my specialist whether to have the second or not. I can’t contact him until the middle of next week so I hope he says that I can go ahead.

Hello again, dear brook2704, I am behind with much of the activities in our kitchen. I blame the snooker. We are on the final lap. I would like Shaun Murphy to win. It's a game of oohs and ahhs. The snooker balls have a way of confusing the issue. Mind you, I'm a very good ref. I tell the players what and what not to do. Do they listen? Hardly ever.

Hi everyone, it is indeed small GG13. Sounds like a good day out Yia not surprised GW was crowded, it is beautiful along the coast that way. Glad Rosie is ‘settling in’!
Still chilly here, got a bit of digging done on the allotment, but clay is difficult, then later rain, two brief, but heavy showers, a taste of what’s to come tomorrow maybe, I’ve closed up the greenhouse for the day. Roast chicken for dinner, might have some plain yoghurt later with a banana that needs using up. Mr J is working tomorrow, so I’ll be maybe more digging (delaying housework!).
Heating is on, in May for goodness sake, awaiting football to start, if it does, after a significant delay. LoD later ?.

Well I have spent the day being waited on hand and foot. I was rushed into hospital last night with a very high irregular heartbeat. I am now waiting for blood test results and medication.
Well done NHS yet again!

We are enjoying our short break.Yesterday we made a nostalgic trip to Chichester marina this was the start of our boating adventures many years ago.We have fond memories of bombing across to the Isle of Wight with our 3 sons happy days.Today we went to Gunwarf, shops far to busy but had lunch watching the ferries come and go plus the sun was shining.

Jaxjacky we had my Dads birthday celebration in The Maypole (his 70th). We sprinkled his ashes into the sea by the Ferry Boat and his widow (my step-mother) lives left at the Fair Ground. It’s a small world!

Busy morning here, a small front border has been cleared, weed suppressant membrane spread, new planters on top with slate chipping round them. So much easier to manage. Mr C did the lions share of the work and is having a well deserved nap.

A good lie-in is necessary to one's well-being. That's why I indulge most days. For the past year, there's been nowhere to go and no-one to see though things are livening up somewhat. It's a dreich day here in Cheshire, made brighter by the rich copper of my big acer and the bright red blossom and foliage on my ornamental malus. The rest of the garden is a wilderness.
Info from Maw: Rosie is having a late puppy-hood and leaving a trail of destruction in her new abode! But still very endearing by the sound of it.
Time to go out to visit a friend, so comb my hair and put my teeth in.

Rosie appears to have moved in permanently to maw's bedroom and it will be a matter of time before she finds a cosy spot on the bed. At least both of them slept well. I only hope she does not howl if maw pops out for a loaf of bread.

My apologies, Rosie is not 5, she is younger- birdbrain thinks she is 3 and a half but I will double-check.

My alarm clock has given up alarming, so I ordered a new one from Amazon today. One looked interesting, but I decided it wasn`t the one for me. It included a bed shaker, a gadget to make the mattress vibrate when the alarm goes off, lol!

Well I have managed to catch up with the new kitchen so far and lovely to hear that Mr Panache is feeling so much better after his blood transfusion. That really is good news Panache.
Yesterday I went to the first of my next round if chemo but need to have a blood test first. They tried to get blood out of my right hand and arm for over an hour with no luck. Luckily I was lying on a bed and not sitting in a chair because it was very painful. In the end they took it from the back of my left hand although officially they shouldn't because of the oedema in my left arm.

That is a beautiful portrait soop . I wish I had a fraction of your talent. But I am worried that you are still feeling poorly and nauseous. Hopefully the doctor will be able to sort it out on Tuesday.
As most of you know Portugal and the rest of Europe are way behind the UK in covid vaccination. A week or so ago it was announced We could go online and book in if over 70. I put all my husbands details in last weekend and he has an appointment on Tuesday at the big football stadium at 9.10am. So he is happy. Then blow me I had a phone call on Thursday inviting me to go yesterday for mine. But I had to explain that I was having chemo yesterday and that I also had to discuss with with my oncologist next week when during my chemo cycles I could have the vaccine. So things are starting to happening here if a bit slow.

N&G and Susan56. That's a very long time to wait for a private dentist appointment. My visits used to really unnerve me but I'm much better these days. I must be very lucky to get an appointment within a week or two. Sooner the better. Hope all goes well for you both.

Cornergran We're about to set forth into car sales rooms. Trouble is MrM and I have to agree first on what we want but we are both quite keen to get an electric one.

Charleygirl5 Rosie will settle. She is lovely. My rescue dog was 4 when I had her. After a few weeks she settled on her bed in the corner of our living area near the log burner and in the morning, she has moved to the end of the sofa. She howled whenever I went out without her eg Pilates classes. MrM recorded it once. It did take her a while to stop but her eyes follow me like hawk to see if I'm going out and now waits patiently and eagerly to see if she can come too.

Lovely sunny day here in Cornwall but very chilly when the sun disappeared behind a cloud. I'm expecting a frost in the morning. Forecast has given -1°. Picked my first little strawberry this afternoon. Going to be a bumper crop.

I've started taking turmeric capsules for my arthritis (several places but mainly left hip and thumbs). I don't want to go down the track of pain killers every night and anti inflammatory tablets. I had very bad heart burn when I was prescribed them for my arthritic right hip five years ago.

Been texting lovely daughter on and off all day. She's been at a low ebb for a few days. She said a good cry this afternoon helped However, it's not helped by pigeons changing the colour of her car. They roost in the neighbours tree that over hangs where she parks her car at the side of the house. I've suggested hanging lots of CDs everywhere and sent her this from Wacky Races. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj6-LG5VpGk. to cheer her up. Just received a text to say the CDs seem to be deterring them ?? ??

No reply or call from my dear son yet.

Very weary now. Test drive was OK, two pleasant salesmen today restored my faith. still undecided which car is the one though. We’ve agreed to not even think about it until Monday, we’re due sun tomorrow, if it’s not too chilly we have a front garden bed to clear ready to future proof it with slate and wooden planters. .
