My late thirties put my vile ex husband behind me and my children. Graduated from university and married my husband who became an instant loving dad.

I suppose the university years, when I was newly married, when the children were little. Above all we were young, with a life in front of us. Magical time!

I think my twenties, first years of earning, fancy free, getting married, first child. Little money but lots of love!
Also the first years of retirement, until ill health dealt us a blow. Still happy, but with a shadow.

What was your favourite age to be? My family moved around a lot in my childhood & my adult years have been a bit stressful at times , so my absolute best years were 17 to 19 . I was at college . Life was full of fun , I had lots of friends , life just seemed perfect . I only wish I’d appreciated it more at the time!
