Piers Morgan walking off set this morning

I saw it on Twitter, turned TV to see what was happening and he was there interviewing Megan's Dad? Bit confused, boring so turned it off again, can't cope with him in the morning.
However he will probably turn up on GB news now?

I don’t watch GM Britain, so maybe I’m missing something, but surely he’s allowed to make a comment, and from the clip I’ve just seen, it looked as if several people were seated around the table having some sort of debate, and Alex was questioning PM’s comments? (I didn’t see it in its entirety, so don’t really know what was said or happened before PM was trying to shout down Alex over whatever he had said).
The phrase “getting above himself’ sounds very “classist” as in “getting above your station” - surely that’s not what you meant, was it?!

He is a bully and should have been fired years ago. Well done Alex Beresford for standing up to him. A man with courage and integrity

I switched over, in dismay, from my usual BBC1 breakfast tv to Good morning Britain which I’ve never watched before and found Piers Morgan valiantly trying to give the true facts which Susannah thingy and the guy you mention totally obfuscated about. Only piers Morgan was giving the true facts. I switched the tv off and went for a long therapeutic walk.

Channel 4 and radio 4 news played some of the discussion. Morgan said he didn’t believe MM’s report of her mental health problems, indicated he didn’t believe a word she said.
He’s a bully, is he modelling himself now on those American shock jock presenters. Those who shout outrageous nonsense and get paid for it.

PM has had a very very chequered career and I doubt has rarely let the truth or ethics get in the way of his ambitions - Leveson didn’t believe his account of his role in the phone hacking scandal, there was something murky about some financial trading and he also left one paper after publishing a photograph of a woman in the public eye leaving/entering a rehab facility. He’s quite a nasty piece of works imo

I’m glad he’s gone. I used to like him. I thought his Brexit coverage was really good. Lately, however, he’s definitely got too big for his boots and I couldn’t watch any more.
I also find Susannah Reid sickeningly ‘holier than thou’ so maybe she should go too!
I wonder who will replace him? Although I’m rarely out of bed in time to watch these days!

Never heard of Alex Beresford; watched the clip to find out who he was; not at all impressed.

I don’t think it’s accurate that he knew /knows MM other than an online ‘friendship’ before she met PH. I do also wonder if ‘knowing’ someone means you can assess their mental health.

I haven’t seen PM before nor watched him as a presenter. on GMB. I haven’t seen this programme before either. What a rude and bullying character. He continually shouted over the top of others and stormed out in a huff. I was glad he left as a reasonable discussion followed. Well done Alex Beresford for refusing to be brow beaten. I’d like to see more of Alex Beresford so perhaps he could replace PM? At least then the discussion would be more civil even in disagreement.

Seems to me that PM and Jeremy Clarkson are cut from the same cloth. Totally obnoxious!

I never watch him so don’t have an opinion. A lot of people seem to dislike him though.

It’s also true that Ofcom are investigating yesterday’s programme after receiving many complaints. The truth could be that it was all staged or he has in effect been sacked. I don’t suppose we’ll ever know but wouldn’t be surprised to see him on AN’s new venture. He certainly is an example of Teflon Man

I hope not. I am looking forward to an alternative programme as I can't stand Piers Morgan, Nagga Munchetty or Charlie.

He’s probably got a new job already.
I quite liked him & often agreed with him.
It’s Naga I can’t stand. So smug with a real condescending attitude.
