Discrimination of any kind is bad BUT if I were running an organization where a lot of clients were ethnic minorities I would want some staff reflecting the clients diversity. Mainly because it makes the clients more comfortable, comfortable clients equals more business.

So this is not true

A job was advertised at a private school twenty five years ago. I applied for an interview I was told the vacancy was for ethnic minorities only. Blatant absolute discrimination there is no other to put it.

It’s in the Fail. Apparently they asked for people from minorities to register their interest in working for GCHQ. Jobs were open to all applicants. So it’s not true and perfectly legal.
