Happy as can be in the circumstances
All good pals and jolly good company.
WELCOME dear kitcheners, old and new.
All excitement here! Click and collect ( 2 shops), plus garden centre and Screwfix. And I have a place on an online recording of The Now Show for Radio 4 this afternoon. My cup runneth over!
Morning all,
I love a good granny square NannyT , so versatile and great for using up all those odds and ends.
Yes Soop Sam will get his stitches out this evening - a plus for everyone concerned lol. No news on the mass they removed but maybe they will tell us more this evening.
Sorry to hear your sad news urmaston.
I think its a day in the West Wing for me today.
Happy days all x
Sad news urmston, sudden death is always a shock, more so in a younger person.
I guess the missing cats remain missing. Hope they are back safe and sound very soon.
Grocery delivery, a windy beach walk and several phone chats have filled my day. Tomorrow really must get to the dust removal. Feel fine now, no more excuses then.
.
Goodnight everyone. Sleep well.
That’s very sad Urms?
So sorry to hear such sad news Urmston ?
‘Evening All’
?
A lovely sunny afternoon here where we visited my stepfather, taking round his groceries and drinking his whisky.
?
To come home and hear the tragic news about the death of a much loved son of people we know well. His brother is a professional football player. A shock to all his family. My heart goes out to them all. May he RIP.
I wish all of us on here a peaceful night ahead. x
‘Goodnight All’.
Hi all, well the sun only graced us with its presence down south in the late afternoon, by which time I was watching Cheltenham, walk and some housework finished late morning. Bit of a nothingy day really, apart from the missing two panes of glass for the greenhouse arriving intact, third time lucky. Tray bake tonight, courgette, aubergine, onion, mushrooms, new potatoes and chicken sausages.
No cats then, fickle...have a quiet evening everyone.
Have a quiet
Sorry to pop in and find out Mia and Fern were still missing. Hoping for better news soon.
soop I love John Grisham. Which one are your reading?
kitty don’t you dare go missing. ?
I have been into town today. First time since before Christmas. Only went so I could buy some of my son’s favourite choccies from M&S for his birthday........I might have bought myself a T shirt too.......well I was there ?
Hope you are ok corner and you too Galen
Come on Fern and Mia. Enough is enough!
Quite a bit of rain, so an indoors day. More work on the photographs - we realised 1990 was missing and then found another box of packets of photos! I must say I had beautiful children ? ??.
Having finished DGD’s birthday blanket, there part balls of wool left, so I have got out my crotchet hook and I am making a lap blanket with Granny squares. Something for me!
It’s been another beautiful sunny afternoon here in Inverness, so we enjoyed a lovely walk by the shoreline just 10 minutes from home
I’m so pleased to say I got a hairdressers appointment for April .. desperately needed. Most of the last few months my hair has been hidden under my bobble hat when out and about but now its getting warmer I need it sorting out!
Sorry to hear those mischievous cats are still missing ... but so pleased to see you kitty ?
A vegetable curry is in the slow cooker and should be ready soon... now where’s that G&T gone ....
We've both enjoyed a relaxing afternoon. I trust that you have too.
I believe that tomorrow is Sam's next medical appointment. N&G You will all be in our thoughts.
Log off time, for me. I hope that we'll be spending time together at some time during tomorrow.

Yiay Please ask Saint Gertrude to take pity on we worried cat owners.
Have caught up with your good news, corner. Continue to rest and be pampered. You deserve it.
Urmstongran The foliage of the maple tree is one of the most striking. The autumn red and gold is a joy to behold.
There isn't much new to report from bonnie Kintyre. The weather is pleasant. I remain a trifle achy after the marathon wardrobe blitz. Have therefore decided to sit with feet up and read John Grisham. It's allowed. You lot must surely agree.
? kitty, we’re very glad you are. Please don’t you go AWOL. ?
Happy St Patrick's Day to you all! 66 years ago my mum and dad got engaged. I was over to see mum this morning and dropped off roses. Dad always got her roses on St Patrick's Day. It wasn't a promising start this morning but I have blue skies here. I have a washing out and I've emptied the summer house to clean it. I hope the missing pets come home soon. Take care x
I keep getting worried with talk of missing kitties - I'm here!!
Good afternoon from a beautifully sunny mid-Notts. I have just returned from an outdoor socially distanced coffee and catch up with a friend. So nice to be out in the fresh air
. Urmstongran - Duncan is just a regular moggy although he does have ideas of grandeur!! He was rescued from the RSPCA some 15 years ago after being left behind when his previous family moved (how could they??). He was thought to be about 4 then and he has lived happily with me since
. Hope all our missing kitties reappear today. Beautiful flowers Puzzler - really feels like spring is upon us today. Sending virtual hugs to all who are in need. Have a pleasant afternoon everyone and stay safe
Happy St Gertrude’s Day the patron Saint of cats! I hope she can bring our missing cats home.A very wet an miserable afternoon here, will get on with clearing a cupboard out!!
Have a good Wednesday everyone.
Afternoon all,
What started out as a pretty dismal wet day has brightened into a blue sky afternoon which is very welcome
Sorry to hear the two cats are still missing. That is worrying.
Your decluttering sounds wonderful Soop , I love a good tidy out.
Nothing of any great importance today although the little boys phoned before school to say they are celebrating St Patricks Day this evening and when they opened the fridge 'someone' :-) had left teeny tiny footprints across the fridge and onto the butter !!!
Those pesky leprechauns !! :-)
I'm sure I will get pictures later!
Happy Day all x
Had to pop in before getting bogged down with jobs. I was hoping that Hellogirl's Mia had been reunited. Still no sign of Fern.
A beautiful sunny day. Hope remains alive and kicking. I will peer through the window at some point during the day. Fern will be waiting to come in for a delicious meal.
Back again after lunch to play catch-up with you lovely lot.
Susan, thank you fort the update on Henry, it`s a lovely photo, he looks full of mischief.
Corner, glad everything went well.
Galen, sorry you`re feeling down get yourself draped in them there pearls!
Soop, sorry Fern isn`t back yet, do you reckon she and Mia are living it up somewhere? I`ve joined a site I`ve never seen before, called Petsreunited, put all Mia`s details, plus a photo, on there.
Duncan is a handsome lad, isn`t he?
They had to find a space for me Doodle to big to be recycled ??
Good news cornergran I assume it was cooked and delicious. We had some sun this afternoon after a cloudy morning. I’m very impressed with this hanging basket, I planted it up in the autumn and it looked dead, but no, look at these pretties, I’ve not touched it!
Just shows, nature is lurking as it is in us too, we’ll all come back and bloom after this horrible gloom. For us all, especially Galen x
