Now where were we!? Sorry about the premature publication; Obviously I was mixed up and it’s not due to the heat today!
Yesterday was 38C , then a cool breeze arrived at 10.30pm which helped sleeping until 6.30 this morning when work re-started on the block opposite.
It was concrete-pouring day and just as well it wasn’t yesterday
Only 25C max, but back up to mid-30s tomorrow. Let’s hope the heat will kill off a few Covid bugs.
Jaxjacky Do you know any Leeds supporters? Bet they’ve gone into induced hibernation! The FA Cup is still a great leveller and that’s part of it’s fascination, provided of course, that it’s the opponents being levelled! 
When do the experts think the single dose of vaccine will be showing a positive effect?
Hard to tell I suppose, when 2 jabs are the recommended treatment.
We are due for the roll-out next month and I suppose my name will be up there with the other “Oldies”, but no rush!
Your stats keep breaking records, but as said earlier, it’s sad, but now a wait-and-see to see how effective the jabs will be.
The Open Tennis in Melbourne is going ahead with many conditions, but will cost a fortune with all the restrictions and security. Then of course millions of prizemoney dollars go overseas.
