Good morning from a drizzly Shire. Felicitations to Mr Soop May the celebrations be long and exciting. ??
Current husband and I have just managed pre-lockdown haircuts. He, and other males in the household appear to be going back to childhood following a foray to the firework shop. CH has also rather worryingly ferreted out his fire breathing kit.
Well done annesixy on your outdoor frolic following surgery. Good to hear. I am shortly being taken for my last pre lockdown swim. Goodness, how I will miss it. My next (extremely tame) challenge is learning to crochet.
I hope all managed to keep afloat during the next few difficult weeks. Thinking of you all and thoughts ~(although apologies I cant remember why) to Marydoll but I have a note scribbled here.
Many happy returns MacSporran 80 years young ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? 80 cakes to celebrate ???
Hope you enjoyed your swim Izabella, makes me feel chilly just thinking about it, though i did have a swim in the cool cool sea some weeks ago, it was a shock at first, but not fir long, and then floated around feeling very pleased with myself. Hope Mr Soop has had a lovely birthday and enjoyed his special lunch. I have a friend 73 today who was very happy she could still go to her luncheon celebrations.
Message from MacSporran : Hello to all you lovely ladies from Mr Soop [aka MacSporran]. I'm overwhelmed by all the wonderful and cheeky birthday messages as I become an octogenarian. You are all delightful, generous and fun-loving, and I feel as if I know you. So far it has been a most enjoyable day and is soon to become even better, as I open a bottle of the Water of Life which will be shared with the very best partner in life that any man could possibly desire!!! So, Slainte, as we say in Scotland. Wishing you all good health and thank you once again.
Well now...MacSporran insisted on sending his own message. I haven't yet taken a photo for you but I shall do so this evening. Thank you for putting an extra big smile on his face.
Happy McSporran and enjoy your water of life. I shall join you in one later! DH is upstairs telling bedtime stories as we have a sleepover tonight. Mummy & Daddy are both on nights. I have had my X-ray results which are a bit of a buggeration - moderate osteoarthritis. I am a bit surprised it went from niggly to nuclear in about 10 days. I am hoping some of the inflammation can be reversed. ? The next step is a diet! Welcome back Izabella! TOYA
Nannytopsy do you know what grade it is? 4 is the worst- it is bone on bone.
Morrison online delivery today- no loo rolls sent at all-unbelievable. I do not mind being rationed but to receive zilch of an essential item is not good.
Here's a brief message from Mr Soop/MacSporran on behalf of my Darling Soop, who is still in the land of nod following our high jinks of yesterday. We will be having a power cut here in deepest Scotland until 4pm, so radio silence until after then. Love to all from Mr S.
Morning All. Quick visit to wish Greyd a very happy birthday.? It seems it’s a birthday week and more cake is in order ?. Anyone got a birthday tomorrow?
Thank you macs, saves us worrying. Delighted you had such a good day yesterday.
Off for a grocery collection now and if the sun remains out a walk by the sea later. Good day ahead here.
