Twice !! In one day ? Impressive. In one month ? Pretty standard. At Christmas and his birthday ?

I don't know how they have the energy in this heat.

Perhaps they just fake it to impress the neighbours!

They live in a house at the bottom of your garden? I can’t imagine this little couple making any audible type of noise.

I'm exhausted just stacking the dish washer let alone an afternoon of bedroom gymnastics.

Don’t understand what you mean?There's plenty of noise, very disturbing.Their house is behind 4 gardens, ours the nearest.

Only Misadventure has come up with a viable solution . No one seems to take it serious. If it was someone banging on their drums making an almighty sound I’m sure you would be round there but because it’s a delicate matter no one seems to date go round

Would you like them to schedule it around your mealtimes? Slip you a timetable? C’mon, I understand you don’t like it, but seriously? Folk can do whatever they want within their own homes - including drumming! Live and let live!?

Awful, who on earth wants to hear that!!! Like you say Grandma24, very embarrassing especially if you have friends or young family around.

Next time I would pop out and check that it is human noises you’re hearing because it might be a pig as they make very grumpy noises or it could be a hedgehog?‍♀️. Don’t worry about the DGC as it would take more than grunting noises to wake them!,.

If you can hear them, then maybe they could hear you.. So when it starts say loudly, "what is that grunting noise?" " where is it coming from?" "can you hear it too darling?" etc etc. They maybe as you say, don't realise they can be overhead.

Grandma24 seriously you have two options: 1) you wear earplugs when outdoors, and keep spare ones for visitors, or 2) go and knock on their door (let them finish first) and ask them to please keep the noise down. Of course you could have a nasty response to option 2.
