Do you mean it’s in capitals for emphasis, as if we’re all stupid?

Do you mean that the channel stops live broadcasting before midnight, puts up a screenshot referring to tomorrow, and leaves it there after midnight, even though tomorrow has arrived? Very irritating, I would agree, for News Channel addicts, but strictly accurate on the basis that it refers to the next tomorrow.

I know what you mean, if so - it's a bit like a sign on a door saying 'Back in 30 minutes'. Unless you know when it was put there, there is no way of knowing if someone will be back in 2 minutes or 29. (You could just check the date of the report on the News Channel, though )

If we were to ban the word "tomorrow" it would mean that you'd have a very complicated, wordy replacement. For example, you're leaving work and instead if saying to your colleagues "See you tomorrow "; you'd have to say something like "See you the day after this day", which is just bizarre!

Since tomorrow never comes, this promises to be a discussion without an end. How very Gransnet!
