The dentist, I’ve had raging toothache since the start of lockdown

Fizzy water - it’s all I drink. Getting used to tap water ?

Cuddling my family,
Popping into town for lunch or a coffee

Obvs my DDs and GD, jumping in the car and driving for 30mins to walk along the beach, browsing in the shops, seeing my friends, going to work and having a laugh with my colleagues etc etc

Me and the dog are missing the peace and quiet, I am usually home alone with the dog, while hubby and 2 of our AC's who live at home are working, so the noise is driving us mad, we both just want a few hours peace, even them just breathing is getting on my nerves, 3 more weeks of this and I can see the men in white coats taking me away ?

Yes, walking would be nice. Ever since the lock down more and more people are walking past our house (at a correct distance of course) and we're stuck in our home full time.

Lunch out in the warm weather with a nice glass of wine included and trips to the theatre ...and walking ...as in walking along a route in the country side

I really need a visit to Northumberland and as soon as we are freed i will be heading that way

arthursfam - do you have a list of said Chelsea Growers or maybe a link as my Dad is getting my brother to do up their garden.

Holidays need a change of scenery

CHOICE. Spontaneity, touch, independence, and, snooker on telly! And many of the misses others mention above.

Going to U3A meetings. Only three times a month but I enjoyed them.

I miss just getting in the car & going somewhere different, I'm still exploring Devon (moved here 5 years ago)

I'm wondering if I'll see my Mum again, she's 91 & lives 300 miles away, she's in good health & in her own home but at her age......

Garden centres, I have a small Nursery near me which is open, pick your plants from a roadside display & put money through letterbox (they live in the Cottage next door

@arthursfarm You paid £5 each for pelargoniums? Two weeks ago I bought beautifully sturdy plants already in flower from Lidl. I got a dozen for that amount.

Freedom to do as you want be it shopping, coffee with friends , hugging . Just missing normality really.

Apart from the family (children & grandchildren) i miss being able yo go out for meals, for coffee, meeting friends, holidays and days out at NT gardens etc.
We are lucky to have a garden and to live in the country where we can ho fir quiet walks but I am getting bored with all the local walks now- done them all so many times!
How ungrateful I am when I think of others in crowded towns living in flats with no gardens.

Me too!!!!! I am absolutely DESPERATE for seedlings/seeds for my allotment.

I have found some seeds in my old seed tin but only the dwarf french beans have shown thier faces so far. The rest are sulking. I suspect they are past thier "sell by date".

Usually, by now, I would be thinning the onions and lettuce and putting up nets to protect the baby plants. Instead, I am doing nothing but weeding.

Yes, I know it needs to be done but unlike in the past, I have nothing to enjoy looking at as I do it!

I can't believe that I was going to comment with "garden centres" and there it was....

The spontaneous decision to just go out and have a tootle about in the town, browse the shops and have a chat.

Shopping for food and picking up tretas (my husband is doing the shopping as he drives and I don't, but he never thinks to get anything not on the list)
I was about to start a art appreciation class this week, that's been cancelled now. I was looking forward to it so also missing that

Our new home---contracts all ready for signing but everything on hold

Missing a walk down the coast and a coffee at the local cafe.

As well as missing the family I'm really missing my regular swim at the local gym. I'm trying to exercise at home and have been doing the Joe Wicks for seniors work outs but it's not really the same.
