Good Morning Tuesday

Newquay there are some lovely walks in Cheshire; I have been to Beeston several times, (they used to hold a huge outdoor market there on Bank Holiday Mondays), I have also walked the Peckforton hills. Julia Bradbury walked the sandstone trail, which has some beautiful views of Cheshire, there is also a very good pub near the trail - The Pheasant at Burwardsley, which is set high up and also has amazing views, and good food!

After dropping a very sharp knife on Sunday, I am not doing any gardening or walking at the moment! I somehow slashed my big toe on the side and under the ball of the toe. It’s held together with steristrips at the moment. Ho hum!

Good morning from the NE coast where we have a bright but cold start to whatever day it is today . The promised good weather did not materialise here this weekend .

I’m off to “that place” soon just to check on things and unset/reset the alarm for insurance purposes. I’ll pick up the post too. Wish I had an open fire here at home . There are things I need to get finished for the end of the month so might try and box it up and bring it home.

I hope your DD and baby Henry get some positive news from the paediatrician and dietician this week susan ?

Good Morning from a beautiful day here in Fife, it's so uplifting to see the sun once again, long may it continue. Welcome Evie and Oldbutstilluseful - enjoy our lovely thread. I can't believe that I'm sleeping so much later than normal. For goodness sake why am I so tired? I had a number of chores to do yesterday which were all finished so today - well what's to do? I shall probably just go around the whole house again whilst DG is out in the garden making it just as tidy as house . We do have a routine I'm glad to say and tbh not finding our days too long, it's tea time before I know it. Sad listening to all the headline news . Keep our chins up though, keep doing as we are advised and we shall get through this. Have a good day all

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Feels chilly after last week's sun but I suppose it's the right weather for April.
About to venture out to Lidl to stock up. It's a two minute walk away but it feels like an adventure as life shrinks.

Good morning from a sunny but cold NE, still frost on the cars at 8.30 this morning.
We are expecting a delivery of ready meals, enough for four days, not got a time slot yet.
Yesterday was spent in front of the TV and I read half a novel.
Meals are getting interesting, found some treacle puds in the cupboard, a rare treat with custard.
Bread all gone so cheese and biscuits with olives for supper, thankfully we still have wine.

Good morning from a bright sunny Chester, not sure about the temperature as I haven't ventured outside yet.

I feel restless today and in need of a good brisk walk. My little dog will have to make do with running around the garden today as I intend to get my walking poles out and get a good walking workout. I have been exercising indoors but it is not the same as being out in the fresh air and feeling the sunshine on my face and I really need to lift my mood.

After a very lonely weekend I will see both grandchildren today when my children deliver my groceries and medication. It will be at shouting distance but I am looking forward to it.

I am also expecting and Amazon delivery of my bookclub's next three books. Small things make my day now.

So many of you on this site are experiencing difficulties and my thoughts go out to you. Have the best day you can everyone.

Well, it's been a different Easter this year hasn't it? Our Vicar streamed the Easter services via zoom from the rectory.
We were in touch with our family via technology and so able to have a nice Easter, but as I say, different! At least the weather was good which meant DH and I were able to tackle some jobs in the garden.

Today I have some ironing to do and some washing to go outside, so that's me busy for part of the day. ?

Good Morning from Fife where it's wall to wall sunshine but I imagine it's a tad chilly out there. I've a little laundry to do then will phone my elderly neighbour for her shopping list which I'll add to my Sainsbury's delivery due tomorrow lunchtime.
Another walk over the golf course after lunch very lucky to have three courses to choose from and two run parallel with the beach.

Just has a text from DD to say thanks for the video of a bedtime story I sent for DGS last night, but did I realise that my ‘Boudior Photos’ from a photo shoot I had on my 50th were behind me on the video??? she has promised not to show anyone else but her and DGS but after all those years of telling her not to send pictures of herself to anyone I should know better!!!

Not sure if we will have our short walk today, but DH has plans to make a cake using up overripe bananas, and I have a pile of ironing to do. Oh joy! I watched a Julie Bradbury Cheshire walk last night from Cheshire Curlywhirly-it showed Beeston and Peckmorton (?) looked lovely. Only about an hour from here so will make a note. . .
Didn’t feel well yesterday, hadn’t slept well and ached (hopefully) from running part of garden circuits.
I count my blessings; am here with DH so can only imagine how tough this must be on your own and with pre existing problems of any sort.
Am looking forward to a Zoom French conversation class this afty.

Good morning from the Shropshire borders.A dry and bright start so more gardening and laundry today.
We had an Asda delivery yesterday so are stocked up for a while now,will manage with deliveries of milk,bread,veg and eggs from the local deli.Quite a lot of the fresh items from Asda had very short dates on them which is annoying but hey ho.No crumpets in stock,Ellan you will understand my pain!
DD went back to work yesterday after her week off which caused me some anxiety.Am trying to keep busy as otherwise my mind goes into overdrive worrying about DD and also about baby Henry.

Good morning from a cloudy, chilly Essex. Lazy day yesterday as it was Bank Holiday!! Did sort through some old photos and put a few on our extended family Whats App. The 70s fashions did give our younger members a great chuckle when we all thought we looked supercool?
Workout with Joe today then yoga and singing with Gareth. I do like some sort of routine. Watched 'Quiz' last night. Didn't think I would enjoy it but looking forward to next 2 episodes. Hope everyone has a productive day, whatever that might entail xxxxx

Good morning all. An improvement on the weather today. Yesterday blew like billyo all day and such a cold north easterly. Walked the dog along the beach but not for long as the sea was rough and she likes to dump her ball in there and swim in after it. ?. She’s a cockerpoo and is getting fluffier by the day after missing her last grooming session. Everything sticks to her like Velcro, brambles, burs, twigs so have to brush her everyday. The first time Iv e been bored yesterday. Couldn’t settle to anything wandering from jigsaw to reading. Play for today on the radio has gone down hill and I seem to turn off after 10 mins. I used to look forward to that in the afternoons. Oh well another day, so onwards and upwards. A day further forward to ‘normal life’ . ?. Enjoy your day . ?

I have persuaded DH to move the Alexa in his upstairs office into the bedroom as he doesn’t use it much. I have a very eclectic taste in music so I am now listening to the River Album by Ali Farka Toure an African musician. DH says says he feels as if he is out in the African Bush when I play it. ?

I’m going to persuade DH to cut the back of my hair today. ✂️
