I absolutely love this picture. It's brought a tear to my eye and made me smile. I can't have a cat due to allergies but we have a dog. I'd love a Siamese cat that would "talk" meow to me. Thank you for sharing this delightful picture.
Nonogran, you could cheerfully have my two at the moment. GS is ill and asleep on the sofa and they are rollocking around and being loud. If they wake him...
Aren't cats funny oldgoat they can always find a nice comfy place to sleep
Or not so comfy - I have posted this before but it's worth showing again. Needless to say the door to this room is firmly shut with the cat on the other side nowadays!!!
I'm going to come back as a cat. They don't suffer from lack of self esteem, anxiety or depression. They know their place in the pecking order is at the absolute top. They may not be given the title of gods anymore but a god doesn't need a title to know that he/she is a god. Let's be honest most of us still worship them or at least act as if we do by doting on them and acceding to their every whim.
I adore cats; and these pictures typify exactly why I do! Cats take full advantage of any opportunity on offer and their ability to completely relax and catch 40 winks anywhere is enviable!
I was lucky enough to see Doorkins Magnificat on a visit to Southwark Cathedral last year. She had the run of the cathedral for some years, even prancing across the chancel during services. She has now retired from the cathedral and is living with a member of the cathedral staff. She was certainly a little cat who knew where to find sanctuary in her time of need.
