Did anyone see the oldest man and oldest woman in the UK on the lunchtime news. Unbelievably they are both 112 today. It brought a tear to my eye to see these two amazing people.
The changes they have seen in their lifetimes have been immense.
I wish them both a very Happy Birthday.

There’s a lovely article on the BBC about Mr Weighton. Strangely, it doesn’t mention my own son’s birth on the same day, in the 1970’s!
