I'll never forget learning in the 80's that Reebok runners cost a handful of small coins to make overseas but we're being sold stateside for $25 or more-

Yennifer, yes- Some became Conservative, some transitioned from freedom and love to accumulation of wealth and goods, to supporting outsourcing, moving businesses or building them ground up overseas instead of the U.S. and using sweatshops to produce goods-

It is oft quoted that the older you get, the more conservative you get.

Yennifer Mon 13-Jan-20 17:01:03

It's very odd that the flower power generation turned very Conservative!

Many boomers who went through their coming of age in the late 70's in the United States had a great deal in common with the Lost Generation-

Yennifer Mon 13-Jan-20 16:47:24

I'm neither so I'm in an odd position, no one seems to care about my generation! I sort of empathise with both in a lot of ways x

So when a boomer suggests that a millennial is being overly-sensitive, and/or narcissistic, it's the truth- They exhibit these traits too, but to a lesser degree- A case of 2 generations calling the kettle black- Interesting .. smile

MissAdventure Mon 13-Jan-20 16:44:02

Would it be narcissistic to say that a study of 750 people isn't exactly indicative of a whole generation?

Yennifer Mon 13-Jan-20 16:00:39

There's a lot of stories about on it, it's everywhere!

Tried to read link, but it’s not working.

Link doesn’t work

If you need more proof that baby boomers are narcissistic and "hypersensitive," take a look in the comments wherever this article is posted. I'm sure you'll find some evidence there.

With that in mind.......no comment.

That was interesting. I think that each generation tend to criticise past/present generations.
