Well Maws boot post had the opposite effect on me, after reading it I have resolved to do better.
I have a pair of ankle boots that fit like a glove, I’ve repaired them so often . I buy new ones and always go back to them.
So no more boots for me for a while.

I tried Skechers for tennis. Very comfortable but lasted about 5 mins on a hard court.

Lemon, here are the boots. Unfortunately, they are sold out.

I have bad memories of other items being filched in the Argy!
They are black suede, not very practical and the picture doesn't do them justice, but I do like them! .

I would never ordinarily have said this but, since we're having a blame MawB day .... I blame her for the recycled cashmere poncho I bought to fend off the icy draughts of winter.

My regret is that it hasn't been really, really cold yet so not much opportunity to snuggle in it.

I shall probably blame MawB, too, when I give in to temptation and buy these boots in the Zalando sale.

I just ordered a pair of Tardis slippers from Ebay. Drat. Can't blame MawB for that.

Skechers ...I'm a fan; anyone tried the skechers boots for winter? They are equally brilliant

I've moved away from Sketchers for boots and trainers as they wear down too quickly with all the walking I do. I still like them for summertime, though. It's Merrell trainers and lots of Fitflop styles for me.

annodomini - me too!! At the moment I am resisting tempation by not opening my e-mails from Woolovers highlighting their current sale bargains - repeating to myself "I do not need any more jumpers"! Last one was a pink cashmere and I didn't "need" that one!

Maw introduced me to Woolovers. I have quite a collection now.

It's all Maw's fault that I've got bought these. Did I need more boots? No! But at £30, it seemed rude to refuse!
