?

Anniebach Fri 10-Jan-20 20:03:15

Yes Callistemon Myfanwy Duchess of Sussex ? And there is
a cottage in the grounds of Llwynywermod , I think 3 bedrooms

Callistemon Fri 10-Jan-20 20:00:12

Perhaps they went to Canada House to pick up their visas?

Callistemon Fri 10-Jan-20 19:55:24

he should have married an English girl

Not a Welsh girl then?

moggie57 Fri 10-Jan-20 19:44:07

I feel sorry for harry.always 2nd best.he should have married an english girl.think he wanted to prove to willam that he could be like him.some how i can see them splitting up.not nice .but to not tell other members of the royal family is off.not having a mother to talk things over with.he must be feeling pretty peed off.its no good talking to his dad .he doesnt have the same feelings for his son as a mother does.if they live in canada i think they should break protocol and do it

moggie57 Fri 10-Jan-20 19:39:06

But they expect to have security.this costa a fortune.seeing they got millions anyway cant they pay for their own.they cant have their cake and eat it.stepback and lose every rhing.pay it their selves

He has definitely changed since being with Meghan. Her fault? I don’t know but something isn’t right and HIS family must be very concerned.

tickingbird Fri 10-Jan-20 19:29:02

sparkii you don’t think he’s a well man at the moment. That may be true- he certainly seems a shadow of his former self. Why is this I wonder? H

sparkii Fri 10-Jan-20 19:26:21

Some people er slightly overinvested in this tale methinks. So what, let them do as they wish. or perhaps you would prefer a full on breakdown infront of the whole world, because, I don't think he is a well man at the moment

Harry is most likely traumatized by how the tabloid press treated his mother for years and possibly even contributing to her death. That is no small thing.

Not first hand. He was v young when she died so a lit of his ideas about her and the "dark forces" are second hand

Di wasnt spending a lot of time with the boys in the run up to her death. She was almost permanantly on holiday without them. So a lot of his "memories" of her/her life will be patched up with stories from her friends etc, rather than all being his true memories.

W is more likely to acurately have true memories of her and that time

lucywinter Fri 10-Jan-20 18:55:08

willa45 here's a 'like' from me.

You too Luckygirl.

I can understand them wanting a different lifestyle.I think a lot of the British public have had a soft spot for Harry, and have just wanted to see him happy. Therefore deciding to step down is not the problem.I don't doubt MM has struggled to adjust, and as someone on the radio pointed out she's a new mum a long way from her own is.However unlike thousands of new mum's can afford to fly her mum over whenever it suits.
But I can't understand MM leaving Archie in Canada, flying in for a trip to Canada House and a couple of other visits ,then flying out again leaving Harry to face the family.Sorry, but for a strong intelligent woman who has forged her own career and makes a huge deal about empowering women I find that strange. They have Frogmore heavily protected to retreat to, if only for a couple of weeks .
It seems since Archie was born they have both lost the plot, and if there is a backlash against them sadly they haven't helped themselves.Just a proper photo of the baby initially ,and less introspective talk -thinking of that interview in South Africa -would have won them far more sympathy now if they genuinely were that unhappy. And personally I think the brand Sussex thing and website are just crass.
I hope they find whatever they are looking for,but can't see how it can work being partly funded and partly here. And actually now wonder if Meghan always wanted Harry to live in Canada.

Luckygirl Fri 10-Jan-20 18:42:09

I too wish them well and am quite shocked about people's anger and unkindness.

They are in a unique and strange position where they cannot make any life changes without them being picked to pieces by all and sundry.

Whatever happens they will be rich - but they have done the right thing by giving up the money from the Sovereign List. Frogmore is a red herring - it belongs the the queen and if she is happy for them to use it when they are in UK, then that is entirely her business. You might argue whether she should have had it in the first place, but it is hers to what she wants with. The incomes from Prince Charles are at his discretion, and remain to be seen; but Harry is, as I understand it, entitled to income from the Duchy.

The argument about their security costs is spurious in my book - why do they need to have security in the first place? - because we as a nation want to have a monarchy and the implication of this is that any member of that family is at risk. If we want to get rid of the monarchy and these costs, then that is an option, but we cannot just choose in favour of a monarchy and fail to protect those who are put at risk by this choice.

I am a million miles from being a monarchist, but I value fair play - and above all else kindness.

What has triggered all this spite against this young couple?

phoenix Fri 10-Jan-20 18:42:08

So Meghan has flown back to Canada to be reunited with Archie?

I'm reading that as the baby was left there while his parents came back (temporarily?) to the UK?

hmm

Chewbacca Fri 10-Jan-20 18:29:28

Eh? confused

Zaiba78 Fri 10-Jan-20 18:26:41

Micro aggression(s)

ananimous Fri 10-Jan-20 18:22:52

Realistically, I don't see Meghan sticking with Harry more than 5 more years, and then she will devalue and discard him like the last one.
I hope he picks Jennifer Lawrence next time (she'll be back on the market by then) and she seems much more the family type - maybe thay can patch things up with Granma and Wills too. wink

Bridgeit Fri 10-Jan-20 18:16:53

?

willa45 Fri 10-Jan-20 18:15:43

Harry is most likely traumatized by how the tabloid press treated his mother for years and possibly even contributing to her death. That is no small thing.

Wanting to distance himself from all the trappings of royalty, could be his way of escaping a similar fate for his own family, or at least to mitigate it.

Blaming Meghan comes easy because she's the outsider, but this so called 'break away' could be all Harry.

In any case, my heart goes out to this lovely young couple and wherever they go, I wish them all the best. Baby Archie is absolute cuteness, BTW!

ananimous Fri 10-Jan-20 18:13:13
