Good morning everyone from South Manchester where it’s dry and dark. Having a morning cuppa in bed, waiting for 8am when I can ring the doctor’s for a ‘today’ appointment.

Thinking of you gillybob hope you get that tooth sorted and that your husband had a better night. Hope his temperature settled - if not I’m sure you’ll be on to the doctor for him.

I love thinking of you washing Zebedee the alpaca today Mommawolf!

Hope Monday is kind to us all whether we have plans or none. x

Good morning all from a wet and wild Glasgow.
The bins have been blown over onto the road and there is debris everywhere, it's blowing a hooley out outside. ??

Hospital appointment first thing with rheumatology physio to try and get some movement into my hip, trying to delay my referral for a hip replacement ( I need to get my heart problems sorted first) and appease the cradiac physio into the bargain!
My RA consultant thinks the cardiac physio is not really suitable for me and the cardiac physio disagrees!!!!
I have tested my diplomatic skills to the limit, trying to keep everyone happy! grin

Glad to hear you are on the mend Kate and here's hoping, Gilly gets on well at the dentist today. ?
Urmonstongran, I hope you are feeling a bit better today, if not, get to your GP! It must be so debilitating for you. ?

The schools are back today, so I must get a move on, the roads will be busy. I'm so glad I'm retired, no school fro me!!! smile

Good Morning from a dark and chilly Black Country.

Didn't do a lot yesterday as still have this cold and cough. Will be the same today, plan to keep in the warm, so will miss my Walking for Health walk this morning. As Nankate says this is nothing compared to what some GN's are going through.

I hope gilly will get this tooth sorted today!

Best wishes to all

Good morning Mick and all, from the Scottish Borders. Very windy here today. I have the dentist first thing as I lost a filling when I bit into black bun on NYD.
I'll be thinking of Gilly! and my friend who's staying has a swollen face with an abscess but she is already on antiBs so I think will return home to her own dentist soon.

The usual Monday things starting with putting the buckets out.
Thanks for the Little Women recommendation BlueSapphire

Scentia, that sounds like a good way to exercise!
Poor NanKate sometimes I think we get into a habit of coughing and cannot stop even when we should be better. DH has a shocker.

Dragonfly quite a nice excuse to go to the garden centre.
I heard on GQT that we can begin planting seeds now. Really?
Whatever you are up to, take care.

Goodmorning all, cold and dry here in Norfolk, a lovely dog walk this morning. Zebedee our baby alpaca is in need of a bath, my daughter has just arrived with a bucket of carrots and white waterproof overalls that make us look like escapees from a police forensic team. The barn is primed and ready with towels and hair dryer, just have to persuade him that carrots are more fun than bouncing up and down when the hose hits him. Hope the dentist goes well GILLYBOB will be thinking of you

Morning Mick and All

Dry and warmer in South Bucks.

Still coughing but making some progress at the rate of a tortoise. I don’t do ill health. It makes me realise how wonderful our Gransnetters are with long term illnesses who really have something to moan about. I need a kick up the proverbial.

Good Morning everyone from a dry Severnside.

Off to get my eyes tested, post a parcel and put some fuel in the car this morning.

I hope you have better luck at the dentist today gilly and hope everyone else feels better if you are poorly ?

Good morning to the early birds and all to come. Looks dry in Northampton at the moment, but still very dark. Been up since about 5am with two cats deciding it was a good time to play, and couldn't get back to sleep.
Yoga this morning and then a coffee afterwards, and home to finish taking down the decorations.
Went to see 'Little Women' yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Spent two hours reliving the book, and in some places there was not a dry eye in the house.
Hope today is good for all.

Good Morning all.

Looks nice and dry here in East Staffordshire.

Normal work day for me today, I will walk the short route today as my heel is hurting after a particularly long walk with my GS yesterday morning. Weather was so good and he was so happy in his new jogging pushchair his mummy got on Friday that I just couldn’t stop walking. We stopped at the cafe for some breakfast and carried on!!!
Hope everyone to come has the best day they can, given their individual circumstances.x

Good morning Mick and those to follow - we seem to be the only ones awake!

I bought a very large vase before Christmas and it is much larger than I expected so a trip to the garden centre today is in order today to see if I can find something to go in it.

Then a visit to see our contribution to the NWR Centenary scrapbook before we hand it over to the next village tomorrow.

Hope you are feeling better Marydoll and Gilly gets that wretched tooth sorted out today.
