Do you remember in the 1960s women would go out shopping in their hair rollers? ?

I was just thinking that.
Our pyjama wearers by day turn into what look like pole dancers at night

I share the gut reaction of, 'this can't be right', but I see some (usually young) women out in tiny camisole tops with skirts so short that if they weren't (hopefully shock) wearing a thong their knickers would be on show - and then I wonder why it seems so wrong for a woman to be out in pyjamas that cover so much more. What a topsy turvy world we live in.

I don't like to see it but what I can't understand is seeing people out in their slippers..... surely slippers are so you don't wear your outside possibly dirty shoes in your home and bedroom.

Years ago, I remember my mother (who was born in 1916) seeing someone wearing leggings or tracksuit bottoms or similar and saying it was sloppy dressing.

It's become a common sight where I live. The first time I saw a woman shopping in her nightwear, I thought she must be ill and had no-one to pop to the shop for a bottle of milk. Now I know that many women simply don't bother to get dressed, and stay in the PJs all day.
Another indication of how pride and self-respect seem to be in decline.

It happens a lot here, and has done for a few years.

You get used to it after a while.

I had to laugh lady shopping in well known supermarket this morning in pjs slippers n dressing gown, oh how times have changed, I’ve seen a few now, not in full attire generally pjs and coat over, I’m not judging each to their own, at least was dressed,I did think of those of us that feel naked if we haven’t got our mascara on to open the door,
