Christmas card disposal,HELP

I cut mine up to use as shopping lists over the year, then recycle.

Cards with glitter go in the black bin.

I first cut cards up to make next year's gift tags then put the rest in the paper recycling bin unless there is glitter on them. Ditto birthday cards or any other such items.

A christmas card is just thin card/thick paper with coloured ink on it, no different from any other printed packaging material

Are any of the Major stores having large collection box's for the collection of Christmas cards.
Could use this chance of getting rid of those birthday cards as well.
Please remove any glitter on the cards.
