'Vacant posession', only means that you will move out as soon as the sale is complete. It doesn't mean that the house is unoccupied.

I think the ones advertised as "vacant posession" are most at risk IMO

Re EA photos: they're totally staged anyway will everything hidden out of view to make the place look uncluttered so I don't think they advertise much.

I do feel for female EAs who have to let themselves and random tire kickers into empty properties though

Slightly off topic. As someone who likes to while away some time looking at houses on line even though we are not moving. I'm amazed at the mess and clutter in some photos. Do they not tidy up first ?

Yes that’s true Chestnut, not everyone shows their street view and I’ve noticed on occasions that some of the neighbours have their property fuzzed out so to speak

My property was sold last year. It was all very tidy and presentable in the photos but there is nothing of any real value. Obviously a TV and furniture, plants, books. You're probably right, if you have valuable items then maybe they should be hidden and family photos removed if you feel they're too personal.
The outside can also be viewed on Streetview, although I notice some people have their properties hidden, presumably on request.
