Good Morning Tuesday

Morning All and thanks to beechnut for opening up. Seems darker than yesterday in our corner of Somerset. No frost, jolly cold though. Hair cut this morning, don’t like the process but it needs doing. Christmas tea to go to this afternoon, really must write some cards in between. So much else I’d rather be doing. Love to gilly and her husband as ever, hope marydoll and her family are having a less scary time and Monday is kind to everyone.

Good morning everyone from a dark and gloomy Malaga! So much for that weather forecast showing wall-to-wall sunshine all this week! Last night we had rain of biblical proportions around 9pm. The road outside had at least a couple of inches of rainwater and the traffic had slowed right down in the dark to navigate the speed bumps.

It’s so dark this morning. It’s 8am here now and it’s only just coming light. I’ve made a cuppa and himself is still fast asleep. I suppose the dark mornings at this time of year help with a lie in!

We have no plans today but I started a new book last night - Elena Ferrante’s ‘My Beautiful Friend’ and I’m enjoying it so will probably read for most of the day. Why not?

No word from gillybob I hope all is well and that we get some news soon.

Looking forward to hearing from our roving reporter, Marydoll. I felt the anxiety with that snowstorm up in the Cathills waiting for their transport. I too would have been stressed as all the shops were locking up.

Hope Tuesday is kind to us all whether we have plans or (like me) none. x

Good Morning to all. Normal work day today, and gym this evening. Had an busy day yesterday, had to speak to my mother on the phone for the first time in a year, soon realised why I don’t like her? never mind it is only once a year!!

I was sat here trying to guess who would start the thread as mick is away, (1 point to me!!!, I guessed correctly)

I love to read this thread even though I have only just started posting it always cheers me up and even though I don’t know any of you I honestly feel elated as Mr Gillybob is improving, hope it continues.

Food shopping and coffee out with DH this morning. I may write my cards this afternoon.

The rain has stopped but i dont feel like starting the day. It's too dark.

Morning all from a chilly North Leicestershire. There is no frost but it isn't warm.

Alzheimer's course this morning and a bit of Christmas shopping this afternoon for me.

I hope Mick is having a good time in Bournmouth and thank you beechnut for being brave!

Good morning Beechnut and all to come.No idea what the weather is like here in Shropshire as still dark.It doesn’t feel as cold as yesterday.
We are meant to be going to Stafford today to visit DD2 and family but just waiting to see if DD1 needs help with the children as she has been quite unwell the last couple of days.

A home day for me finishing off the lasagne I made yesterday for my meal.
