Having just watched the interview with Emily Maitlis, I just cannot make my mind up about him , I find it strange that he could not recollect having that photo taken with the girl with his arm around him , I thought he was very cautious with his answers, What do you all think ?

Well perhaps if HM had led him a bit better down the paths of morality he wouldn't be facing the consequences of his actions now.

I wonder if Ghislaine Maxwell will resurface when she's offered plea bargaining by the FBI in exchange for telling all?
That'll make PA and Sarah Ferguson sweat!
As for Beatrice and Eugenie, I hope they get told to earn their own keep and get real - how on earth can they claim they have jobs/careers when they appear to be on extravagant holidays umpteen times a year?
With a bit of luck Charles will give PA a good bollocking and drop kick him into the far distance, can always hopeful!

Merlotgran - your Dad would probably enjoyed the banter on Gransnet!

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 17:52:19

Why do you bother with stuff like that Annie? It makes you look a bit silly tbh.

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 16:52:39

True , and some will even take on others arguments too

merlotgran Sun 24-Nov-19 16:28:15

As my Dad used to say, 'Some people will just argue the hind legs off a donkey!' grin

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 16:23:00

merlot I was not being sarcastic, so Andrew may have been taking the queen for a ride.

I took my children for a ride, when adults they accompanied me on a ride, big difference .

merlotgran Sun 24-Nov-19 16:10:56

Anniebach, If you're going to nit-pick at least get it right.

'Taking someone out riding' means you accompany somebody, often a guest or a child. You don't lead another person's horse with a bridle. The horse is wearing the bridle and if you are going to lead it you would use a leading rein.

I don't think anyone would expect the Queen to lead Prince Andrew at this time of his life so unnecessary to sarcastically suggest it.

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 15:33:32

You are just being weird pedantic Annie. Stop it. You know perfectly well what I mean.

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 15:29:05

Gonegirl you said ‘the queen took him out riding’, no, he accompanied the queen , they were not on the same horse and the queen was not leading his horse with a bridle

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 15:08:06

Annie Why'dyou say that? hmm

oldgimmer1 Sun 24-Nov-19 13:46:28

gone girl age of consent in the US depends on the state.

It's mostly 16, though.

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 13:35:11

She took him out riding ? Was she leading his horse ?

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 13:29:50

The Queenmust think riding a horse is the answer to everything, the way she took him out riding. hmm

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 13:28:04

Depends who the FBI believe I suppose. If he slept with that young girl when she was 17, then he's guilty in America.

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 13:25:23

I think they're still in this country so far Ab.

pinkquartz Sun 24-Nov-19 13:01:19

But if he does speak to the FBI I suppose strings will be pulled for a deal of some sort.........

pinkquartz Sun 24-Nov-19 12:59:57

It has cheered me up to read that P WIlliam is not fond of his uncle.....perhaps some of the RF is not so bad.

I am happy with a cull and it sounds like that is what Charles and William will go for.
So pleased that PA now wants to speak to the FBI...he thinks they will see he is innocent....grin just how thick is he?

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 12:53:04

Is she in this country or America ?

It’s a difficult one for Camilla who is patron of a charity for
abused women.

It’s difficult for them all as it would be for any family, more so really because they can’t ‘go public’ .

They can’t ignore Christmas at Sandringham, they wouldn't snub the Queen.

Bet Charles is spitting feathers.

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 12:22:52

Yeah. You're right.

Callistemon Sun 24-Nov-19 12:18:24

I expect Andrew will have to eat his on a tray in the scullery.

If Princess Anne is at the dinner table anyway.

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 12:15:45

Could make it really difficult round the family dinner table, if they ever all get back together again.

Callistemon Sun 24-Nov-19 12:14:59

I expect they are all horrified but perhaps they don't have such gossipy friends who run straight to the media (for money?).

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 12:14:50

Worse than the Mail.Cosmoplitan! grin God know how I came to be on there. www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/celebs/a29895631/meghan-markle-horrified-prince-andrew-teenage-sex-allegations/
