Having just watched the interview with Emily Maitlis, I just cannot make my mind up about him , I find it strange that he could not recollect having that photo taken with the girl with his arm around him , I thought he was very cautious with his answers, What do you all think ?

PS on the other hand, it's a good thing the rich are no longer able to arrogate lawlessness to themselves as of right.

I am incompetent to judge the evidence against the Duke of York. A huge tide of popular opinion, and also reputable charities, and his own personal staff has turned against him. Some of thr comments are entertaining.

Naturally I don't want to make myself unpopular but at the same time it's one of my principles that condemnation belongs in a court of law, not on popular media.

Gardening, stamp collecting ?

It was said he would continue with Pitch@Palace in a private capacity, he can no longer run it from Buck House. Read yesterday some MP’s want investigations carried out into
Pitch@Palace More trouble ?

Only the queen has full diplomatic immunity, he only has it for civil prosecutions I think so wouldn't apply - perhaps that'll curtail his jaunts!

Anniebach Mon 25-Nov-19 08:46:10

Wonder if he can leave this country for holidays or will he have to stay put. I know nothing of diplomatic immunity

Not like Prince Philip really, Philip has sensibly decided to take a step back, to retire because he's very old.
Prince Andrew has been told he won't be allowed to play a visible part in the life of the RF.

Pantglas2 Mon 25-Nov-19 08:42:06

Yes Anniebach a bit like Prince Philip, we probably won’t see or hear much of him apart from the Epstein business and possibly Beatrice wedding from hereon in.

Anniebach Mon 25-Nov-19 08:36:18

Suppose he has to go into early retirement

Resurgam123 Mon 25-Nov-19 08:22:21

What are they going to do with him?

Chewbacca Sun 24-Nov-19 22:45:46

Took him long enough Pantglas2!

Pantglas2 Sun 24-Nov-19 22:39:03

Prince Andrew standing down from all his charities- just announced!

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 19:45:01

Sorry Callistemon read your post about reins after I posted

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 19:43:02

Yes it does Callistemon .

Many parents try teach their children right from wrong but not all children stay on the straight and narrow.

I feel sorry for the Queen when she is criticised for the actions of her family. Not one of us had to cope with such a change in life as she did age 10. And this was 80 years ago.

Callistemon Sun 24-Nov-19 19:35:32

not

Callistemon Sun 24-Nov-19 19:34:34

Ps my leading him down the paths of morality remark was in response to the discussion about when is a leading rein nor a leading rein.

Callistemon Sun 24-Nov-19 19:31:43

Well, I did try to teach mine right from wrong Anniebach.

But that brings up the huge question of nature -v- nurture.

Bridgeit Sun 24-Nov-19 18:47:52

Thanks Grapefruitpips ?

Bridgeit Sun 24-Nov-19 18:46:10

No , no thought just a touch of irony !??

grapefruitpip Sun 24-Nov-19 18:36:11

Very witty Bridget.grin

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 18:32:12

That was to Bridgeit

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 18:31:31

Eh??? confused

Did you put any thought into that remark?

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 18:30:35

Is every parent to blame when a son or daughter lacks morals
Callistemon ?

Bridgeit Sun 24-Nov-19 18:28:25

If we cannot not express virtuous opinions on a thread about the Lack of Virtues in others when can we ?

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 18:18:25

Oh for goodness sake, we haven't had any silly squabbling for ages. Put your virtue away gfp. No one wants to see it. hmm

grapefruitpip Sun 24-Nov-19 18:11:38

I find it hard to believe that merlot's dad , or indeed anybody would enjoy this silly squabbling.
