Having just watched the interview with Emily Maitlis, I just cannot make my mind up about him , I find it strange that he could not recollect having that photo taken with the girl with his arm around him , I thought he was very cautious with his answers, What do you all think ?

The Daily Mail on line yesterday named the people who were
at that dinner party held after Epstein was released from prison, one couple was Woody Allen and his wife, she was the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow one time partner of Allen.

Iam64 Sun 24-Nov-19 08:44:10

yes I saw that Woody Allen had been there - no surprise there, that WA would be pals with a man like Jeffrey Epstein. A current and a former Potus have also been regular visitors. I suppose its possible that some people attended in the way PA says he did, for networking purposes. How they could justify that given the obvious exploitation of young women (and boys no doubt) is beyond me.

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 08:55:10

Doubt he will appear in court, no attempt by the law in America to come here. He certainly will not go there.

Think this will rumble on but no one will face the law.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 24-Nov-19 09:01:49

iam they can’t justify it.

The whole world knows that they are all guilty by association.

Ask yourself the question, whether befriending someone for network purposes, but then discovering that he pimps and procures people for sexual activity for other people whether you would consider continued association desirable? That is if indeed it happened that way. Personally I don’t think so, but benefit of doubt etc.

If you did then your moral compass is broken.

Andrew was going to continue working with ‘Pitch@Palace’ in a private capacity, he has been stopped from working from his Buck House office. Barclays Bank have now withdrawn support from it.

The Queen has cancelled his 60 birthday party !

Iam64 I was told by someone the other day that the current POTUS claims to have distanced himself from Epstein years ago because he disliked the way that Epstein disrespected women.

For once I was completely lost for words.

Pot and kettle.

I was not at all surprised about that, Annie !! Birds of a feather ....

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 09:55:57

It’s all so sordid, vile, evil, skin crawling

Apricity Sun 24-Nov-19 10:06:24

Anniebach, I totally agree with you. Don't always but here you have nailed it.

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 11:16:07

Apparently Megwotsit is disgusted with him. Well, she is all for protecting young women from sleazy men so I suppose she would be.

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 11:53:45

When did she make this public gonegirl ? Perhaps no one has asked her if she is ok

Sparklefizz Sun 24-Nov-19 12:10:34

Not sure anyone wants to hear what Meghan thinks. I wonder if she has asked whether Beatrice and Eugenie are ok?

Callistemon Sun 24-Nov-19 12:10:58

Yes, Meghan has always spoken up for women's rights, education and empowering women and girls.

I suppose she is going to have to be rather careful what she says in public for the time being - but actually I hope she doesn't hold back on women's rights.

Sparklefizz Sun 24-Nov-19 12:12:14

The RF are not supposed to give opinions on sensitive issues.

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 12:12:49

I read it in a newspaper online Ab. Prob the Mail. I find it very believable.

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 12:14:50

Worse than the Mail.Cosmoplitan! grin God know how I came to be on there. www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/celebs/a29895631/meghan-markle-horrified-prince-andrew-teenage-sex-allegations/

Callistemon Sun 24-Nov-19 12:14:59

I expect they are all horrified but perhaps they don't have such gossipy friends who run straight to the media (for money?).

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 12:15:45

Could make it really difficult round the family dinner table, if they ever all get back together again.

Callistemon Sun 24-Nov-19 12:18:24

I expect Andrew will have to eat his on a tray in the scullery.

If Princess Anne is at the dinner table anyway.

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 12:22:52

Yeah. You're right.

Anniebach Sun 24-Nov-19 12:53:04

Is she in this country or America ?

It’s a difficult one for Camilla who is patron of a charity for
abused women.

It’s difficult for them all as it would be for any family, more so really because they can’t ‘go public’ .

They can’t ignore Christmas at Sandringham, they wouldn't snub the Queen.

Bet Charles is spitting feathers.

pinkquartz Sun 24-Nov-19 12:59:57

It has cheered me up to read that P WIlliam is not fond of his uncle.....perhaps some of the RF is not so bad.

I am happy with a cull and it sounds like that is what Charles and William will go for.
So pleased that PA now wants to speak to the FBI...he thinks they will see he is innocent....grin just how thick is he?

pinkquartz Sun 24-Nov-19 13:01:19

But if he does speak to the FBI I suppose strings will be pulled for a deal of some sort.........

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 13:25:23

I think they're still in this country so far Ab.
