Having just watched the interview with Emily Maitlis, I just cannot make my mind up about him , I find it strange that he could not recollect having that photo taken with the girl with his arm around him , I thought he was very cautious with his answers, What do you all think ?

Gonegirl Sat 23-Nov-19 12:21:34

I’ll just leave the exchange with GG there

Oh, you get to decide do you?

I will keep off this thread. It's been done to death anyway.

pinkquartz Sat 23-Nov-19 12:26:15

gonegirl

you probably have followed them for much longer than I have as I have only very recently taken any notice of RF at all.
Because I disapproved of them I found it best not to read about them, but in this case i am fascinated.

I am not offended by you.

Hello everyone. Just a friendly reminder to please refrain from personal insults. A lot of these comments are close to crossing the line and it'd be great to get the discussion back on track. There are some interesting comments in this thread, so it would be a shame to have to delete it. smile

Gonegirl Sat 23-Nov-19 13:04:24

Only close?!

Anniebach Sat 23-Nov-19 13:06:23

What is ‘crossing the line’ !

suziewoozie Sat 23-Nov-19 13:10:06

If you’ve got questions about their post, you need to contact HQ. No point asking questions on here

Anniebach Sat 23-Nov-19 13:23:48

Sorted, I looked through the thread, noticed what has been deleted and what remains.

suziewoozie Sat 23-Nov-19 14:51:03

I found one deletion ( one of mine) not bad in such a long thread with such strong feelings being expressed. <quite proud of myself>

Gonegirl Sat 23-Nov-19 15:24:52

That's all I can see, apart from the one pinkquarz had deleted herself and they put the wrong message up. hmm

Nothing wrong with the thread. We might as well start the bunfight again.

Suziewoozie you are knock-kneed and cross-eyed.

suziewoozie Sat 23-Nov-19 15:26:21

GG I can assure that I’m neither. What a very strange thing to say ?

suziewoozie Sat 23-Nov-19 15:29:47

Not that it would matter if I were of course. Commenting on the physical appearance of others is somewhat infra dig (as BJ would say ie the last two words) ( oh and the ie)

Gonegirl Sat 23-Nov-19 15:37:05

It was a joke!!! How on earth would I know anyway? grin

Just trying to give the thread a little humour.

Gonegirl Sat 23-Nov-19 15:37:55

I'm out of here. hmm

suziewoozie Sat 23-Nov-19 15:38:49

Humour?

Another interesting thread crumbling under the weight of personal digs and insults and under threat of being closed down because posters can't be civil to one another. And the same protagonists too.

grapefruitpip Sat 23-Nov-19 15:56:02

It's beyond the bounds of normal behaviour .

Gonegirl Sat 23-Nov-19 15:56:23

I was trying to make it better.

craftyone Sat 23-Nov-19 16:00:50

yes chewbacca, it is always the same few who destroy threads through their nastiness. They must have incredibly boring lives. I feel so sorry for them, what a way to live

Gonegirl Sat 23-Nov-19 16:02:42

And always the same posters ready to put the boot in. Who actually is nasty?

Calendargirl Sat 23-Nov-19 16:39:19

Well, it was a week ago tonight that the infamous documentary was broadcast. If Andrew could turn back time, what would he do?
Answers on a postcard please!

Sarah Ferguson’s behaviour is not all that is “unbelievable”.
By the way , many people refer to others by their surname. It’s not necessarily an insult e.g. Mozart,Picasso,Corbyn,

merlotgran Sat 23-Nov-19 16:59:04

I've never thought it was insulting either. Authors are frequently referred to by their surnames.

suziewoozie Sat 23-Nov-19 17:08:36

Lots of pearl clutching going on here and silly judgements on other people lives. I didn’t know VR was an author /composer/artist/ political leader? Must have missed that one. Silly me. Is that meant really to be a serious defence of calling her by her surname ???

Anniebach Sat 23-Nov-19 17:20:47

Calling a man by surname only is acceptable, calling a woman by her surname isn’t? Equality ?

Hepburn, Bergman, Du Maurier, Callas, Thatcher, and many , many more
