Having just watched the interview with Emily Maitlis, I just cannot make my mind up about him , I find it strange that he could not recollect having that photo taken with the girl with his arm around him , I thought he was very cautious with his answers, What do you all think ?

quizqueen Tue 19-Nov-19 14:13:47

I never liked Prince Charles much but he is the heir to the throne and it is claimed he wants to cut back in the future. So, if he scales back to just him, William and George on the payroll and all the other minor Royals getting a proper job and funding themselves and fading from the spotlight then I think most people could support keeping the Royal family.

If this is true then that would be the reason why he did the interview.
I don't know if that is true.
Any lawyers around?

Gonegirl Tue 19-Nov-19 14:10:09

I can’t remember the last time I broke the law

I ride my bike on the path.

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 14:03:34

Of course his bodyguards know where he was, of course they know when ever he visited JE and his sex mansions, islands and estates. Of course this information won’t be revealed.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 19-Nov-19 14:02:38

They are governed by the secrets act

Granny23 Tue 19-Nov-19 14:02:07

This posted on facebook yesterday by my friend who is a lawyer:

so if you're ever accused of a terrible crime, get interviewed and broadcast worldwide proclaiming your innocence and amnesia with a red, worried, sweaty face, as you blink, thereby setting up your case for a miscarriage of justice as you'll never find an unbiased jury. That's a tenner you owe me now.

Retired65 Tue 19-Nov-19 14:00:13

Surely Prince Andrew's bodyguards must know where he was and who he was with?

pinkquartz Tue 19-Nov-19 13:52:21

The RF finances are of interest.
I am waiting for a book written recently to come from the library on this topic. Hoping it will be relevant.
They don't work really apart form PC. He does have a business)
But they all have plenty of dosh hmm

pinkquartz Tue 19-Nov-19 13:49:25

trisher

I am very anti-Royal.
But that doesn't mean that this is not important in fact it is very important.
This could be where the public want to cull the RF to at least down to core members and perhaps altogether in th enear future.

It is also important because it is about what men do to women. And that needs to be challenged.
No more of this it has always been this way attitude that makes me despair

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 13:47:04

trisher his finances are dandy. £13m Swiss ski chalet bought in 2015. No one seems to know quite how.

trisher Tue 19-Nov-19 13:39:35

Anyone know how PA's finances are these days? I seem to remember Fergie having problems. Did he as well? And is perhaps his memory being influenced by the people who have given him support?
I agree about it being a question of morals (and his lack of any).

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 13:26:39

I agree Gone in fact doesn’t a decent society and its constituents parts live far more by moral codes than it does by the legal code? I know sometimes they coincide but if I think about my everyday life, I can’t remember the last time I broke the law but my behaviour is therefore not beyond criticism.

Gonegirl Tue 19-Nov-19 13:23:01

We might "like it or not", but this is Prince Andrew.

(To Calendargirl)

Gonegirl Tue 19-Nov-19 13:21:27

We are not talking morals here we are talking law

No. As a member of our Royal Family we have to talk morals.

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 13:15:25

Wouldn’t click on a link to that piece of garbage if you paid me

trisher his memory might well come back when presented with more evidence that night otherwise go public. The FBI are infamous for pleas bargaining.

trisher Tue 19-Nov-19 13:11:45

Well if as he alleges he "doesn't remember" suziewoozie it would seem to be a bit of a waste of time. I would imagine that there was a lot of alcohol and other substances involved in these events so his lack of memory might be understandable.
pinkquartz It is a waste of time because it is the result of having a system where a family are regarded as being special and different and earning their privilege through birth right. If you accept the RF then you should realise they may produce people like PA. Personally I'd get rid of the lot. of them.

Anniebach Tue 19-Nov-19 13:07:09

Perhaps stop scratching and think there may be people of more importance than a minor royal involved, possibly causing collapse of governments .

Why has the FBI not been involved

www.thesun.co.uk/news/10374027/jeffrey-epstein-victim-prince-andrew-private-island/

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 12:53:56

Of course he should volunteer - why would he not <scratches head>

Anniebach Tue 19-Nov-19 12:52:02

And suzie he has not been asked by the FBI to answer questions, the female lawyer for five of the women has said he
should volunteer to give a statement to the FBI.

Resurgam123 Tue 19-Nov-19 12:49:26

Well it is nothing new is it. There have been numerous such scandals from child exploitation involving those who should have been regarded as the great and the good.
However we must not mention such things that might, or might not have been happening. In some large childrens homes. Several years ago.

Anniebach Tue 19-Nov-19 12:46:54

suzie pity you can’t control your need to make jibes,

Now try to get it right this time ok ?

I am not defending Andrew

I have no recollection of the Queen saying he is her favourite son, you do.

I have not questioned why the FBI have not given names

I question why two alleged victims lawyers have only spoken
of Andrew , is he the only man 50 plus women can remember?

I question why the day after Andrew gave his interview and said he had been a guest on Epstein’s island another alleged victim spoke out for the first time and said Epstein had invited her to visit the island where she could meet Prince Andrew.

Why not speak out two days before? And the lawyers of both woman only speak of Andrew, can they not recall anyone else ?

Calendargirl Tue 19-Nov-19 12:37:58

Gonegirl

You asked Monica if she thinks it immoral for a 40 year old man to have sex with a 17 year old girl?
This is what I meant in my earlier post, immoral or not, it happens. Lots of girls look much older.
I’m not saying it’s right or acceptable or justifiable, but it happens whether we like it or not.

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 12:32:09

annie you keep asking questions the answers to which no one knows for sure but some posters have given reasonable possibilities. It’s an ongoing investigation, the FBI ( and tge French police) are involved. You simply appear not to want to address the issue of why he is not offering to be interviewed by the FBI.

Basically you appear to find it difficult to accept that HM’s favourite son has no judgement and probably even fewer morals. As long as Diana and MegHan aren’t involved, you seem to support the RF unquestionably .

pinkquartz Tue 19-Nov-19 12:30:02

MOnica

I think PA needs to be outed for mixing happily with men that are having sex with children. The police say some as young as 12 which us a child in my book.

It is not ok for any man to do this.
The fact that he is a spoilt and indulged Royal means that he should now face consequences.
Also it was against the law when he was in the USA

pinkquartz Tue 19-Nov-19 12:26:16

Anniebach

I really do believe it is only him at the moment Because the other names are being approached with more caution or because they need the Maxwell woman. It was a pity that Epstein was bumped off before the trial. allegedly.

the others are going to be trickier.....he is rather stupid and arrogant so I guess was not only the only easy to ID Royal but also the easiest to catch.
