Sad to read that Harry, Megan and Archie will not be with the royal family for Christmas. The Queen and Prince Phillip are so elderly now, who knows if they will be here next year. It would have been lovely to see photos of the family with the little family included. Sign of the times, when even the royal family are being pulled apart.sad

they certainly do not have to rely on handouts from the Queen!

Just a large cottage country pile renovated at a £2 million + cost to the taxpayer, security (tax payer again) and massive clothing allowance and jewellery (Queen and Duchy of Cornwall) to name but a few handouts.

No prejudice, just facts.

I love that fact ReadyMeals.

We're already all mixed race anyway. Not one of us doesn't have African ancestry.

Saetana I rather think you’ve answered your own question, dont you?

eebeew Sat 23-Nov-19 03:31:44

Anyone who thinks plant based diets eg vegan are silly should watch The Game Changers on Netflix.

I would not swap the royal family's money for their job - ever - what they have to put up with from the press is beyond any reasonable "deal". Meghan is too American, too mixed race and too outspoken for some people. Check your prejudices at the door people - her and Harry are a long way down the line to the throne and why on earth do any of you care what they do or say? They receive a bit of money I would imagine from the Queen's money from what used to be called the Civil List for undertaking duties on behalf of the royal family. Harry is rich in his own right and Meghan was a successful actress before she married him - they certainly do not have to rely on handouts from the Queen! The vitriol from certain posters on these two is beyond belief - what have they ever done to YOU personally to deserve that?

My goodness anniebach, you're the champion of stirring, snide remarks - and irrationality.

There are many ways to spell traditional names - Ian/Iain, Aidan/Aiden, Finlay/Finley, Kieron/Ciaron/Kieran etc, etc. If, in real life, you chose to misspell a person's name (say, a work colleague) just because you didn't think it was the "proper" spelling, it would be deemed rude and unacceptable.

suziewoozie Fri 22-Nov-19 22:33:46

No annie you’re the stirrer on here with your deliberate misspelling of MegHan’s name and your constant nitpicking and criticising of her.

Anniebach Fri 22-Nov-19 21:02:19

Just saying = just stirring ?

Brismum Fri 22-Nov-19 21:00:12

Until this post I had never seen Meghan written MegHan! Is there some reason for that susiewoozie? Also Anniebach seems to think that the Princess Royal’s christian name is Ann and not Anne! She’s been around much longer than Meghan so it should be easier to get it right. Unless it’s deliberate of course! Also spelling Megan the Welsh way is no excuse. I have a daughter spelt Megan but still still spell the Christian name of the Duchess of Sussex correctly. Just saying!

Looks like they inherited equally after all.

suziewoozie Fri 22-Nov-19 14:49:40

Google Diana’s Will.Lots of links and info comes up.

ReadyMeals Fri 22-Nov-19 11:10:27

Any clues to how we could find it?

Anniebach Fri 22-Nov-19 11:03:40

Details of the will are on line.

ReadyMeals Fri 22-Nov-19 11:00:23

That's what I heard Diana had told a friend she was intending to do, but I am not sure of the details of the eventual will.

Callistemon Thu 21-Nov-19 18:23:57

Didn't Harry get more than Will because Diana knew that Will had a job promise?

pinkquartz Thu 21-Nov-19 18:07:06

They are seriously ok for money then grin

pinkquartz Thu 21-Nov-19 18:06:06

I didn't know that.

MawB Thu 21-Nov-19 18:04:55

GabriellaG54 Thu 21-Nov-19 17:56:19

Both sons inherited £20m from Diana' estate to be held in trust until they reached the age of 30.
As Harry was the younger son his £20m eil have accrued much more interest.
They may both have been left money from the Queen mum.
Charles has the income from the Duchy of Cornwall which is not wholly confined to Cornwall and is well able to help financially, not that it would ever be needed.
Harry was 11 (I think) when Diana died meaning that for about 18-19 years, his £20m was invested in high yield accounts.
What the total amounted to after almost 20 years is anyone's guess but IMO one could live in extreme comfort on the interest.

Daddima Thu 21-Nov-19 16:23:06

pinkquartz, didn’t Harry inherit a few million from his mother? And I don’t imagine Meghan is short of a shilling!

Gonegirl Thu 21-Nov-19 16:14:38

Must be. grin

I like pepper too.

Alexa Thu 21-Nov-19 16:11:55

Alexa Thu 21-Nov-19 16:10:54
