In Meghan's shoes, I certainly would not want to change clothes umpteen times a day as they do at Sandringham, eat as fast as HM, have to eat what is served regardless of being vegan, have to adhere to all the codes of conduct re shoots, outdoor picnics, dining times, present opening on Xmas Eve blah blah ?

I know that Meghan willingly joined the RF knowing what she had been told by Harry about the scrutiny and adherence to protocol but until you live it, it probably doesn't sink in.

I wasn't a fan to begin with but now, after about 18 months, my view is that she brings a more approachable aspect to The Family.
That remark won't sit well with those who think the RF should be on a pedestal but I think the 6th in line and his wife should have some freedoms.
Most people like and even admire the normality of Zara and her family and there is no reason for Harry, even with his closer links to the throne, not to enjoy a similar lifestyle.
He has enough money of his own to enjoy a comfortable existence wherever he and Meghan choose to live with their son.

I know all that and I did not suggest that they have it all ways.
I did write that Harry has his own money, meaning that they, as a family, could comfortably live without the ties of Royal duties and the monies paid for those duties.
I guess Harry wants to live more 'off grid' than the RF are happy with but so what.
It's the 21st century and rules and habits and expectations can be altered and are altered.

As far as I was aware none of them receive money directly from the taxpayer for their duties apart from the Queen.
I presume she decides whether or not to 'employ' them.

well I read today that PA will no longer get £249,000 per annum form the tax payer.......if they do public duties they get paid plus we pay for the security for them to do the public duty.

Well I will plough in. Anniebach you are not a stupid woman and therefore are quite able to remember that Prince Harry's wife spells her name Meghan not Megan. Why then do you purposely misspell it every single time you reference her? It does come across as either very childish or very spiteful. You don't have to like her to accord her that basic human decency that should come naturally.
