Sad to read that Harry, Megan and Archie will not be with the royal family for Christmas. The Queen and Prince Phillip are so elderly now, who knows if they will be here next year. It would have been lovely to see photos of the family with the little family included. Sign of the times, when even the royal family are being pulled apart.sad

But just very dare to not want to go to your grandma-in-laws for Christmas.......

Suzie, I know. I have said over and over this makes him smell badly of sleaze. He knows it too! I was addressing a possible criminal component on Andrew's part. As I understand it it's not illegal to sleep with a woman over 16 even if she was groomed by another person while under 16. Nasty, but I don't think it's prosecutable. On the other hand if Andrew was helping epstein to perform or cover up illegal activities then that's a different matter - but is there any usable evidence? The CPS won't allow a charge unless they think there is a fair chance of conviction

Visiting the home of someone who has served a sentence for a crime is not a crime , this is a fact.

Was there a stream of young girls at the house after the prison sentence ? Was he allowed to continue as before he was tried and sentenced ?

Much we find distasteful needn’t be a crime

ReadyMeals Sat 16-Nov-19 14:32:41

Whitewavemark2 what was alleged to have happened is not rape of a minor due to it having happened in London UK. She needs legal advice so that she can work out exactly what the charge should be, but it's not that one.

A Difference being charged with a crime and accusations of a crime

A photograph of a man with his arm around a girls waist is not proof of any sexual activity

suziewoozie Sat 16-Nov-19 14:44:53

annie quite frankly your posts on PA are appalling. You are playing with words and downplaying the unacceptable behaviour of HM’s second son. Yet you cannot criticise MegHan enough. And JE wasn’t a criminal because he’d been shoplifting but because he was a paedophile FFS. And HM is condoning this through allowing the interview. If JE hadn’t ‘killed himself’ who knows what else would have come out? As it was his previous conviction was on a lesser charge because of plea bargaining.

suziewoozie Sat 16-Nov-19 14:49:33

Unlike you annie I get facts before I post. Are you really going to continue saying it’s acceptable for HM’s second don to stay at the home of someone on the sex offenders register? Really? Really?

Anniebach Sat 16-Nov-19 14:53:33

suzie I am not playing with words, I am looking at the facts,
would do the same regardless of who we were discussing.

You said in a post - ‘he was groping her’, no, he had an arm around her waist , this surely isn’t groping.

You want him to be guilty because of who he is, I am not defending or accusing him as I would with any allegations being discussed .

The photograph? could be he had sex with her, could be he was hoping to have sex with her, could be she wanted a photograph taken with ‘a prince’.

crystaltipps Sat 16-Nov-19 14:54:33

Why aren’t the posters who are slagging off M and H for not following “tradition” not equally slagging off C and W for spending at least 2 Christmases with her folks?. Depriving all those inadequates with nothing better to do on Christmas morning the opportunity to gawp at them going to church? Terrible. Plus defending St Andrew at the same time. Talk about selective poison.

Whitewavemark2 Sat 16-Nov-19 14:57:15

Imagine yourself meeting a man who organises orgies for his friends with young women, and taking part in them.

Then ask yourself where do you think these young women come from?

Then ask yourself - am I happy to befriend a convicted paedophile, and continue with this friendship after he is released from prison.

Then ask yourself, is this appropriate behaviour for a son of the Queen of the U.K.?

Then ask yourself, whether this behaviour and friendship could be kept away from public glare for ever more?

No?

Then you should never have bloody done it, and you have a duty to answer to the US police in helping them with their enquiries.

Anniebach Sat 16-Nov-19 14:57:56

suzie I have never said it was acceptable, I have said staying at the house of someone who has served a prison sentence is
not a criminal offence. This is a fact.

Whitewavemark2 Sat 16-Nov-19 14:58:56

He’s got to hope that videos of the orgies don’t come to light.

suziewoozie Sat 16-Nov-19 14:59:39

And annie you have not criticised PA for staying at JE’s house have you?

MissAdventure Sat 16-Nov-19 15:00:01

I do think, if we're talking about royal duties, then watching the company they keep should be high priority, rather than with whom they spend Christmas.

Whitewavemark2 Sat 16-Nov-19 15:00:15

Oh!

I wish Meghan a very happy Christmas.

Anniebach Sat 16-Nov-19 15:00:21

Whitewave it isn’t appropriate behaviour for any man , but it does not prove there was a criminal offence.

Whitewavemark2 Sat 16-Nov-19 15:01:35

It WAS a criminal offence in the a USA. That is what he has to answer.

suziewoozie Sat 16-Nov-19 15:03:05

Apparently the French authorities wanted to question PA and HM vetoed it. The rumours are swilling around and this ‘interview’ has made it all worse. Good. We’ll soon forget about uppity MegHan and wanting to have Christmas with her mum. Nicely played BP - you just don’t get it do you?

ReadyMeals Sat 16-Nov-19 15:05:14

Whitewave, the alleged act didn't take place in the USA

suziewoozie Sat 16-Nov-19 15:05:42

Tbf the family do have form for being friends with paedos- big brother and Peter Ball ?

jura2 Sat 16-Nov-19 15:06:01

Tend to agree with Annie- she seemed to be a willing participator and aged 17, not a young kid. Thinking of myself at that age, I knew exactly what I was doing. She was not a kid stolen from Africa or Eastern Europe against her will.

I really don't like the man- but...

suziewoozie Sat 16-Nov-19 15:08:41

There is talk of something happening in Florida. Those trying to defend him and downplay this, why don’t you just stop and ask yourself what sort of world is this when HM’s son has to on TV to defend himself for staying at this man’s house? How come it was ever necessary in the first place?

ReadyMeals Sat 16-Nov-19 15:10:22

One thing that is always apparent is that Andrew and Sarah are extremely well suited to each other. They are both masters of poor judgement and indiscretion.

suziewoozie Sat 16-Nov-19 15:12:07

Well I agree with that Ready.

Anniebach Sat 16-Nov-19 15:15:33

So guilt by association
