Would it be considered rude of me to ask how old we are? I’m surprised for example to read if a poster is a great grandmother or is ‘going out to work now’.

I’m 65y.
?

tanith Mon 11-Nov-19 10:43:18

71 here I’m feeling it at the moment.

Jessity Mon 11-Nov-19 11:15:31

leyla Mon 11-Nov-19 11:23:57

Sara65 Mon 11-Nov-19 11:26:26

lovebeigecardigans1955 Mon 11-Nov-19 11:30:34

Well, if you can do sums you can tell from my user name that I'm 64, at least until mid January.

adrisco Mon 11-Nov-19 11:34:25

I'm 62.

Rufus2 Mon 11-Nov-19 11:41:15

Annsixty, does being the eldest , make you the Queen Gran?
I shall bow, every time I read one of your posts.
Marydoll; I'm not a cynic, BUT....if a lady tells me her age, experience tells me that she has shaved at least 10 off her true age! grin
Btw; As I've said before I'm 92½ shock
Beat that! Does that make me King Gran(Dad)? If so, I give you permission to drop me a few respectful curtsies from time to time, provided you don't lose your balance of course! hmm

Auntieflo Mon 11-Nov-19 11:43:19

77 is my age, and like some others, I am feeling every one of them at the moment.

TwiceAsNice Mon 11-Nov-19 11:47:29

66 and still working 2 days a week because I want to but also if I change my mind in a few years don’t know how I’ll manage without the extra money! The SE is expensive! Some days I feel 90 but mostly between 35 and 50

Fairydoll2030 Mon 11-Nov-19 11:49:02

All the sevens 77 ( just!). Retired at 67 but had ill health since 2005.. family worry about me but I have decided I want to make it beyond 80 at least. MIL is almost 104 but can’t see or hear properly - ah, the ‘joys’ of old age...

ginny Mon 11-Nov-19 11:55:29

I vary between 30 and 80 depending on what I have been doing, going to do and what the weather is like. Officially 64 .

polnan Mon 11-Nov-19 11:58:21

I`m 83, thought I was going to be the eldest here, till I see Rufus 2... that`s good, I didn`t want to be the eldest.

Sussexborn Mon 11-Nov-19 11:59:07

I am 68! My OH will be 70 in two days! It suddenly dawned on him a few days ago and he was genuinely shocked!

My Mum was 29 for years and none of us questioned it.

Her Grandma lived to be 99 and, according to my Granny Mac, still rode a bike and could thread a needle!

Two of my lunch friends are in their 90s and enjoying life to the full. One puts the rest of us to shame with her yoga and keep fit sessions.

EllanVannin Mon 11-Nov-19 11:59:40

40-----according to an online test. smile I'm 79.

annsixty Mon 11-Nov-19 12:10:35

I hand the crown to you polnan
Wear it with pride ?

MargaretinNorthant Mon 11-Nov-19 12:14:49

Kartush Mon 11-Nov-19 12:21:36

AllTheLs Mon 11-Nov-19 12:24:31

57 and still working. Swap the figures around and I'll still be working (sigh).

Pearlsaminger Mon 11-Nov-19 12:24:56

53.... but I’ve been 39 since I WAS 39. It’s a long time joke with everyone who knows me now.

Even told my GP I was 39 when he asked at one appointment - and was brought down to Earth with a bump when he looked at my file and said ‘Actually, you are 52!’

Spoilsport!! grin

helenmabr Mon 11-Nov-19 12:25:02

66 next week

Nico97 Mon 11-Nov-19 12:25:30

62 - retired four years ago smile

crimpedhalo Mon 11-Nov-19 12:26:16

I'm 71 and until May 2018 felt much younger. One Saturday morning...I took a nose dive out of the bath and fractured my knee. My husband had gone out for the day, and I had to yell for my sleeping 26yo son to help. Yikes......baptism of fire for him lol

Shelagh6 Mon 11-Nov-19 12:28:21

I am 87 and just fine! A lot of you are the age of my daughters!
Good genes or something else. I had a heart attach when I was 59 and here I am still! 88 next year, I hope!

mokryna Mon 11-Nov-19 12:28:42

69 Still working because I want to. However, I will be forced to retire next June. sad

QuaintIrene Mon 11-Nov-19 12:28:44

I am 56. Dyscalculia means I can’t always remember, exactly. June 1963 anyway ! Still a punk at heart and I like changing my hair colour. Pink right now ?
