Good morning from the Scottish Borders where it's been light for some time . The heating came on in the night which made me think I was ill. I must finish making up beds today and preparing for tomorrow.

We had a great facetime with our NZ family last night. The rain united us.

Thankyou Maw for sharing the beautiful image of your beloved on this remembrance Sunday.

Sending love and praying for Gillybob in her torment.

Good morning All , it is bright and very cold here , but at least the rain has stopped . I can see frost on the plants and most of the lovely leaves are on the ground but the branches of my fav Acer are showing off their lovely shapes and shadows
Going to ask my lovely cleaning lady to do the insides of the windows today,
Thinking of Maw and empathise with her sadness
Hoping for some improvement for Gilly xxxx

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is out in South Yorkshire. I enjoyed my photography course yesterday; pleasant company and a lovely tutor. This would be a good day to put it all into practice, but we are picking up a new car this morning and then the family are coming for lunch.
Thoughts with Gilly, Maw and all struggling with sadness today.?

Good Morning from a dry Fife. Maw be brave, and what a lovely tribute to your DH.flowers. Chores to do today since we spent the day yesterday in Perth, had a good time buying Christmas pressies. Thinking of gilly too. Will be watching The Remembrance Service on tv too today. Hope today is kind to everyone.

Good morning, it is dry here in Leicestershire.

Admin, planting bulbs and sorting out phots for Christmas cards today.

Maw you are in my thoughts this weekend although as you say the pain is there waiting to pounce when you least expect it. Sending you flowers and gentle hugs.

Good morning Mick and everyone. Been awake since silly o'clock, but not for any particular reason, I feel fine. Made myself busy. This morning I will walk in the woods and later watch the remembrance ceremony in London.

Looking forward to a birthday lunch for my younger sister and family members at a favourite restaurant. My older sister has travelled from Scotland and as I haven't seen her for a while it's going to be rather special.

Thinking of Gilly and her poor husband. What a truly sad situation. Warm wishes also to anyone feeling unwell or unhappy. Special wishes to Maw on this sad anniversary. What a lovely tribute to Paw. flowers

If you're on holiday, have a lovely day.

Nanabanana1 can my partner and I come to you for supper today, your beef stew and dumplings sound delicious ( we’ll bring the wine)?
Susan56 snow ... oh no ...
Quiet day for me, cooking and a bit of housework. It’s cold but bright in east London.
Sending good thoughts to all who are facing challenges today - and hoping to hear something (even a smidgen) more positive from gilly.
Hope we all have a good day ?

Crossed posts maw, special thoughts for you x

Good morning all.
It is the second anniversary of Paw’s death and I am finding the weekend hard.
However as I have said elsewhere, I realise how privileged I have been to spend my life with this gentle, principled and brave man
Seeing the two younger DDs and their children, eldest has her son’s birthday party which I did not want to detract from, so I saw them last Thursday.
Anniversaries can be hard, but are not unexpected. Those of you in my position will know that it is the sudden, out of the blue things which knock you sideways. I send special hugs and what strength I can to Gillybob and also to all with health issues and worries, Marydoll, Dragonfly, Cornergran and others. And thinking of those who like me are again waking up with a space on the pillow beside them Bluesapphire, Alygran, marmight and many more. flowers

Morning Mick, morning All from a dry and very draughty corner of Somerset. Feels cold too. Food shop being delivered this morning, will watch the televised remembrance service, not sure what else, see how we’re both coping with the day. Caring thoughts for gilly and her family. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Good morning everyone from a damp Torbay.
Quiet day today, dog walk along the beach this morning when the tide has gone out and may do beef stew with dumplings in the slow cooker today. First time I’ve used it since Spring.
Best wishes to all.

Good Morning everyone.

Damp and cloudy on Severnside today.

I have no firm plans for today, although I keep looking at the bed in the other bedroom and think that I should tidy away everything that I keep plonking on it lately.

Thinking of gilly and hope you all have a lovely day ?

Good morning everyone from Shropshire. We had heavy snow yesterday but it has rained most of the night and washed most of it away thank goodness.
We are going over to North Wales today to spend the day with our eldest daughter and grandchildren.
Sending love, thoughts and strength to gilly.x

Sar53 Sun 10-Nov-19 07:02:29

Good morning everyone from a wet Essex by the sea. I think it has rained for most of the night.
I'm off to Kent later to stay with DD2 and 2 of my DGD'S this morning. I haven't seen them for sometime so very excited about going.
DH is meant to be taking one of his DGS's to rugby but if the pitch is waterlogged I think it will probably be cancelled.
My thoughts are with Gilly and her husband.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning Mick and All to follow.

Cold and drying up with an apricot sunrise here in South Bucks.

Walking down to the Remembrance Service in the town this morning then will try to nip into our favourite cafe for coffee before everyone else does.

Hoping for better news from the Gillybobs.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, and wet here in Brackley this morning.
Yesterdays flea market in Buckingham was small size wise as most regular ones failed to show.
Today, usual day for me start to prepare lunch later , and have a snooze after.
