Good morning from a cold wet NE.
DH left at 6.30 to collect GD from next county and deliver her to school, he will be back to collect me in a couple of hours and then we will house sit while bedroom fitters finish GD's room. Collecting younger GC from school and bringing them back for the weekend.
I thought retirement was about taking it easy hmm
Thoughts are with gilly and her DH and hoping for news of improvement.

Morning Mick, nina, all.

Its dry but not too cold in North Leicestershire. The children bought me a place on a Silver Clay course on the other side of the county but we have had huge amounts of rain lately and I'm not sure of the best way to go. I could be some time!

Slightly better news from gilly yesterday so hopefully things will now be looking up.

Good morning all from N Bucks.
Opened half an eye and it is cold here! Back very late (for me) from Birmingham to see DD and family, so shall be collecting Hattie from what is fast becoming her “country “ second home, the kennels in Salcey Forest about 10 miles away. Back in a bit to see how you all are, but in the meantime, wishing you all a pleasant day.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and wet here in Brackley this morning , venturing out later weekly shop, and maybe pop into Banbury , am interested in buying a Parka coat , which should keep warm when outside..
Other than that will be watching the Track Cycling from Glasgow , on the BBC red button most of the weekend starting tonight, its Olympic qualify for some track events , GB needs to improve in some areas.
