I'd ask in the shop anyway. I'm sure that they won't mind (just don't mention that you're buying online)!

Why not try them on in the shop and then say they aren't quite right - even if they are perfect? Thousands of people try on shoes in shops but don't buy them. That's normal.

No wonder shops are closing down.

You can always send them back anyway.

Only because I'm a German teacher, it's Josef Seibel, (pronounced Sybell). Just incase anyone wants to search online.

I love Josef Seibel shoes but find I do need to fit them as every style is different. Some fit, some are too narrow. But they wear and wear and are excellent value for money over time.

I have never bought Josef Seibel boots. But I have 2 pairs of his shoes. One 10 years old , the other, I think about 12. I wear them constantly and they are both is extremely good condition still. So I would say go for the boots

I've just tried to be helpful and checked out the German Seibel website. The size for normale Füsse is G but there is a G 1/2 for wider feet. Good luck finding them in the UK.

Why not try them on in the shop nothing wrong with that seems the most sensible thing to do
It is the reason shops are closing down jane10 but I doubt I could even afford those shoes/boots online however if I saw the in a second hand charity shop I d have a go
Things are beyond our purses in a lot of a High Street shops

I ended up buying them from the local shop in the end. I just love them, so comfy and keep my toes toasty warm. My DH and son gave me cash towards them for my birthday later this month so am very happy with my purchase.

I'm glad you went ahead and bought them in a shop after all. The high streets need to be kept alive!

You could ring the shop and enquire that way.
