Coming into our favourite kitchen badly needing the uplifts and humour along with the caring support.
I am rather disturbed finding you Ann planning to have this hip op and you our dear Soop in a likeways situation, although for you it is your troubled long term "nether region".
Both brave ladies whom will certainly take things in their stride and to you both I send my love and some
Wishing you both well and that badly needed recovery and return to better health.
Whilst I can well understand the up and down nature of your treatment Dragonfly and whilst sometimes the going is better than at others, you seem to be doing so very well overall..Furthermore looking good in your new head gear!!!
Not a lot to smile about here and even the thought of prosecco lollies could not get one.
Not only was my dearest informed his last treatments had failed which was such a body blow, after all he has only had 6.
Further more some of the bone pain is fast returning and the wheelchair will have to be brought back into daily use.The bigger problem is in all this waiting and such poor service right now.I phoned our MC millan nurse first thing but I have not heard a dickie bird......and of course the weekend looms.
Since I continue to lose weight I restarted vitamins and believe they have kickstarted a violent reaction within my very dodgy digestive system, so I too am virtually crawling, having suffered immense pain and just cannot take any food.
To add to our hurt feelings this bubbly 80+ at our table was one day busily planning christmas, the next she had died........a massive stroke from which she never recovered. It certainly hit us hard......it came at that worse time.Yes indeed, life can be so frail.
Thankfully we are amongst caring people, however they too have their own problems. At the moment I simply find life extremly difficult, please bear with me on those times I simply cannot join you.
We have tried to soldier on with some hope,a little optimism, just praying for at least our promised 18 months together.............but this turn of events are shaking us to the core.
Last Christmas, our Golden Wedding Anniversary,my own 80th birthday were all passed in the turmoil ..........we had simply hoped that we might have just a reasonable Christmas tide this year............Hope is fast fading.
Apologies for saying it as it is, but I must so that you all know when I am missing and why.
Nevertheless I send you all every blessing and much love XX
