I don’t know what all the fuss is about. As others have said, a newborn baby is either a boy or a girl. Why would anyone refer to it as ‘they?’ Apparently it’s a boy, so why wouldn’t you say ‘he?’
I don’t understand why anyone would want to raise their child as ‘gender neutral’ because I think that could lead to confusion in the child’s mind as it grows up, it would soon become aware that other children are, in the main, boys or girls. It would wonder exactly what it was, in my opinion.
