I took your advice, BradfordLass, and carefully read your post on suitability for membership.

I think I'm OK. I've been into old women's clothes ever since I became one. I Plead ignorance about OH but suspect it has to do with a spouse of which a have none by choice at this stage of my life. Useful at one time but not any more.

Also, Geckos are my friends (a few small ones live on my screened porch and feast on the occasional mosquito that they find.)

I shopped at Aldi yesterday (love their cheeses and chocolates). I'll read anything (having something to read is more important than fresh food) and although I'm not well=versed on Brexit, I suspect that it is to the U.K. what Trump is to the U.S. - the basis for many needless arguments.

Cheers!

welcome, it is always wonderful to have contributions from people from all over the world, to hear their views on particular situations, to discuss social and cultural differences and similarities, it all helps to broaden the mind and understanding. Enjoy your brew or even join us in the occasional wine, purely medicinal of course!

justme2 Welcome, although before you get in too deep, you might be wise to read my contribution on page 4 to the thread "Gransnet. Should I be on it."

I have friends in many parts of the States: Hawaii, New York, Atlanta and formerly in Bickleton, San Diego, California and Illinois.

I'm in New Zealand grin where I live in the future.

Not sure about reincarnation but there seem to be a few US grans who by spelling mum as mom give us a clue, so you wont be alone. Welcome justme.

I just found Gransnet and wonder if there is a place here for a Yank? I'm a Brit at heart and wonder if I I had a past life there ..... if there really is such a thing as reincarnation.
