Good Morning from a sunny South Welsh coast and a clear blue sky.
Went to IKEA with DD yesterday and enjoyed a good wander, tired afterwards though.
Family coming later and I'm cooking a leg of lamb. I need to see how much mint is left in the garden.
A pleasant day is wished for all.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. It looks bright and sunny. Marydoll you are getting pre holiday nerves. That's all. wink

I picked about 6 kilos of plums off one tiny tree yesterday. It's a plum year apparently.

We tried to work FiL's tv so he could watch his favourite programme. We succeeded but talk about the blind leading the blind!
A busy day as we expect visitors. Hope you all have a good September.

Not sure what thread you should be on Marydoll

Good Morning from Fife where the sun is out but it is rather chilly. Autumn is on it's way. Was able to lie a bit longer today, no builders so it's nice to have a day to ourselves. No definitive plans for today, cooked, baked and cleaned yesterday so will enjoy the day pottering. Got a couple of things to go back to the shop next door grin , as usual they are too big sad. Hope everyone has a good day to day - enjoy.

Morning all from a bright North Leicestershire. Not sure what the forecast is but we are off to replace my laptop so it wont bother us a lot.

We are having coca cola gammon today. I asked dh to buy the coke yesterday and he came back with cherry cola - should be interesting!

Good morning Mick and all,

Not sure what the weather is like as I haven't opened bedroom curtains yet.

Nothing planned for today apart from Roast Pork and crackling for dinner!!!

Have a peaceful Sunday

Ooops, wrong thread! I have lost the plot, today! blush

dragonfly, about six months ago, I bought a jumpsuit from Sainsbury's in the sale. Initially, I was frightened I would look like mutton, dressed as lamb.
Wearing it, I got a backhanded compliment from DH. "That's lovely, it makes you look slimmer". angry

It was a perfect fit, which was surprising, as I'm so small!
I tried one from Next and the crotch was at my knees!!

I’ve just watched Gardeners World Resurgam123.

Good Morning everyone from a sunny Severnside.

I am really pleased with the work I did in the shed yesterday. I need something to make some shelves and mooching about in a box for something else I found lots of bent pieces of metal that will do the trick I’m sure. Just need to drill some holes.

I hope you all enjoy the sunshine and are feeling better if you’ve been poorly ?

Resurgam123 Sun 01-Sept-19 07:40:38

Good Morning All.
I am doing the Sunday morning garden TV programs. But still in nmy dressing gown.
It was really chilly last night. Our weàther is so chaotic at present we cannot rely on on anything.
Winter Drawers On.

Good morning from sunny Leicestershire.

DD and SiL arrived yesterday to discover that she had left her work laptop at home. As she needs it all this week SiL has just set off back to Kent to pick it up.

Lovely meal at local pub last night.

Also hope Gilly’s DH is better and Marydoll you get you meds’ and your plane sorted out.

Marydoll Sun 01-Sept-19 07:23:15

Oh, that's a bit garbled! blush

Good morning Mick and all from a fairly dry Glasgow, but we are supposed to have rain later.
This of course means, I shall agonise over whether to put the washing out or not.

I'm off to church this morning, and no doubt will be there for hours, catching up with evertone's the news afterwards.

This afternoon, despite previously filling in all our personal details for the airline, I received an email this morning, saying it hadn't been done!angry.
It took forever yesterday and didn't Save. I'm beginning to doubt myself. sad.
Last week I went to pick up my prescriptions and they hadn't been dispensed, despite me ordering online. ? There was no evidence of the request.
I'm losing the plot.

Nonnasusie, I do not want to hear about storms. grin Two years ago, our holiday in Rome was a washout, (I've never been so wet in my life!) so I'm desparate for some nice weather! It will be an opportunity to wear the summer clothes I haven't had a chance to wear this summer.

Have an enjoyable Sunday everyone, whatever your plans.
Gilly, I hope your husband is feeling a bit better and you are looking after yourself.. flowers

Morning Mick and All.

Calm cloudy day here in South Bucks.

Sorting out and catching up day here after a lovely few days away celebrating our friend’ 50th WA. The years melted away when we were all together.

Good morning everyone; blue skies in Northampton at the moment. Hoping it stays that way.

Did not manage the garden centre yesterday afternoon as we had rain, so I watched the rugby instead and hoped I could catch a glimpse of DD and DSIL who had made the journey down to Cardiff for the match. No, I didn't see them in the crowd but they would have been pleased with the result, as DSIL is from Northern Ireland.

Hope to get to the garden centre this afternoon instead, after I have read the papers and done the puzzle pages. Hope all have a nice day.

Mick I think Crick is now just off junction 18 of the M1.

nonnasusie Sun 01-Sept-19 06:44:22

Buongiorno from Italy. It's a bit fresher here but like Bellasnana I think we're in for more storms . Taking the dogs to Kennels this morning as we are
setting off to England early hours of tomorrow. First to Cornwall to visit some friends then the drive to Manchester to see the family!
Not sure we're going to enjoy the weather as we are used to wearing shorts and sandals not jeans and trainers!
Hope all have a great day whatever your plans!

Bellasnana Sun 01-Sept-19 06:24:55

Good morning and ‘white rabbits’ on the first of the month!

Cloudy and muggy here in Malta. I think we might have some stormy weather approaching.

I’m staying in today so will catch up with the ironing and other jobs around the house.

Hope you all have a good day.☀️

Its just twilight here in brackley but dry, yesterday picked up another map of the Northampton area , OS wise from the flea market in Buckingham , shows M1 finishing at a round about near to crick era late 50`s early 60`s.
