Help. I have really lost it this afternoon. What note is this. I can’t seem to read to bass clef

Susan56 Wed 18-Sept-19 15:19:10

Morethan,I am so glad that the appointment went better than expected.Sending loving thoughts and paraders to you all.xx

soop Wed 18-Sept-19 14:53:04

morethantwo The situation you are confronted with is beyond anything I can imagine. For such a long time, the family has been in limbo. I wish with all my heart that I could make things right. That is not going to happen. Please continue to share with us lot if it helps in the slightest. flowers

Doodle Our family are our heart and soul. If one member hurts...so do we. My best wishes for a resolution to your grandson's pain.

Izabella Wed 18-Sept-19 14:43:53

for CH. He deserves it!

Izabella Wed 18-Sept-19 14:39:35

morethan I am relieved at the news given to you all at the hospital. Even my disordered brain kept you in its thoiughts.

My earlier meditation had so many thoughts of kitcheners battling with life events ranging from the merely irritating to the truly dreadful end of the sacle. Being able to post in here without fear of ridicule or dismissal is of great benefit to us all. What I personally often read is the love and support of truly human beings I shall never meet but who manage to either gladden my day or enable me to consider things in more depth. I am sure everyone benefits from this.

My post it notes today are a phosphorescent pink which brings me to a lighter note. The kitchen ceiling has had a most unusual and unplanned makeover. Due to a plethora of plums I have been making ice cream under supervision. However, due to a lack of the aforesaid for a nanosecond, I omitted to place the lid when 'whizzing' the poached plums. So we now have a striking Pollockesque ceiling of cream juxtaposed with a rich crimson. Quite striking and surprisingly widespread. ?

Oh, and sorry its long again, but CH has found a connection at the back of the keyboard that he has tinkered with and "killed" the sound via a raspberry pi. He explained it in a loving and supportive manner, but I have to say he seems mightily relieved with the result. However, Johan Sebastian and I plod on together and improvements are being made (in my opinion) Perhaps a gransnet Bach recital with Greyduster?

Luckgirl I apologise but cannot recall your particular problems, but you are in my thoughts as are all others with problems.

Nap time.

NanaandGrampy Wed 18-Sept-19 14:00:27

Everyone can breathe a little easier now Morethan . Hopefully , there can now be a little sunshine in your day xx

GrannyGravy13 Wed 18-Sept-19 13:46:40

Nannytopsy Wed 18-Sept-19 12:51:29

? for your family Morethan and virtual hugs.

annsixty Wed 18-Sept-19 12:49:28

morethan
Well done for holding it together and such more positive news than you were expecting.
I am so sorry for my remarks earlier, in the light of this news it wasnt very tactful.

Doodle Wed 18-Sept-19 12:44:03

Oh morethan that is a bit of better news. So glad for you. Let’s hope the new drug works.

morethan2 Wed 18-Sept-19 12:41:12

And breath... home now. So everything below the neck is still stable, liver results were really good and now totally clear. Unfortunately the secondaries in her head on slowly getting worse, but the consultant is in touch with the marsden and with their permission is going to introduce a newish drug that penetrates into the brain better. It’s not a cure but might give more time. So it wasn’t as bad an appointment as I expected. Phew, thanks for the virtual hand holding everyone. I hope all of you with troubles are like mine today not as bad as expected.

Whilst very sadly some folk in this world of ours take the greatest pleasure in the belittling or harrassing of others, usually the very ones that do need that little word of kindness and uplift...............it really does upset me when life is so very short,we live and walk this way but once........why oh! why be unkind when a simple hand on someone elses or a kind few words can make such a difference.
I can but reiterate...........thank God for Soop`s kitchen where reaching out and caring is the norm.

Thinking very much of you Carillion and your dear man, believe me you would be well advised to stick closely to us here in the kitchen, because I for one can vouch for the overwhelming caring shown... when it seems the whole world is against you.

Morethan your post has certainly touched every nerve within me and I feel so much for your brave DiL,and also for the way in which you were given the most unenviable job on earth.Prayers and yet more prayers are being sent for you all,and please know you are very much in our hearts at this devastating period.

Dear Doodle of course we can but offer up a prayer for your DGC whilst he is suffering and at that low place in life. You too need another prayer for the burden of caring about a loved one, when feeling devoid of actually helping can be so painful.{flowers} to help lift your mood.

Whilst there amidst all these sad stories you again rise and shine like a bright morning star Izabella. You are truly such an inspiration on so many fronts, and as a lover of poems myself, yours has certainly touched me this morning .It will be printed and will wend its way into many other homes and hearts, your way with words are so very special.Thank you for sharing.

What was to have been just a pop in and out again has led to another long post, sorry folks but when our friends hurt I feel it and simply just am unable to "walk on" although, sadly, not much one can offer.

Anyway another beautiful sunny day and hopefully a cheery one for the rest of you...........and please just ignore those that "have a go" and stay safe and secure within the confines of our kitchen!!
TOYA xx

NanaandGrampy Wed 18-Sept-19 10:18:11

Morning all,

I can’t think of anything helpful to add to the replies you’ve had Morethan except to say we’re here, we can listen and feel so very deeply for you.

I’ll just send you much love ?

Doodle Wed 18-Sept-19 09:45:22

Thank you all for your kind messages your thoughts are appreciated.

Doodle Wed 18-Sept-19 09:40:24

morethan I pray you have the strength to hold your family together. So sorry for what you are all going through. There is much love in your family. I hope it supports you through this hard time.

annsixty Wed 18-Sept-19 09:37:03

I am not going to post again on Luckygirls’ thread.
I can say no more than everyone else has said but if you haven’t been through it , it is impossible to imagine.
She will have some relief for herself, she will have some freedom she doesn’t have now, but at what cost?
I know it is best for her but her H will never see it that way.
She will feel guilt and regret that she couldn’t cope.
We feel we should cope but know we can’t.
It is a situation we hope and pray will never happen.
I miss my H every single day as we all do who have been through it.
I carry on but I am incredibly lonely however nobody sees that but me and all you, my virtual friends.
I will now get over my weep, for myself as well as for all you in pain, I will go and put the kettle on , make myself a coffee and put my “ game face” on as I do everyday.

Charleygirl5 Wed 18-Sept-19 09:31:19

I also understand where ann is coming from- it is an awful situation. It is very difficult when a family has problems accepting the truth. You are going to hell and back trying to keep it all together. Totally heartbreaking- much love.

Marydoll Wed 18-Sept-19 09:30:38

morethan, I have no words of comfort, to offer that will help you feel better, but I can pray for you and your dear family.
I'm so sad at reading this, you are a very brave woman. flowers

annsixty Wed 18-Sept-19 09:26:26

I am praying for that miracle morethan
Life is such a vale of tears.
I just wish it wasn’t so.

morethan2 Wed 18-Sept-19 09:22:10

annsixty your thoughts mirror my own and my sons but her poor family are desperate. Putting her through yet another torturous appointment is hell but they are hoping for a miracle. Hopefully today they’ll get one ☝️ or at worst perhaps they’ll forced to face up to the awful inevitability of her illness. Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts they are such a comfort

harrigran Wed 18-Sept-19 09:19:00

My thoughts are with you morethan, it is heartbreaking.
I understand where you are coming from annsixty.

MawB Wed 18-Sept-19 09:14:18

Morethan sending you all the love I can, this is beyond endurance.
Is the request for more scans clutching at straws? Echoing what annsixty says, but I realise it is easier for those of us looking in, I suspect we would all give all we had to snatch a few more days with those we love - but not when they are suffering.
Oh how cruel life is flowers
