Until it finally finished, I loved children's hour on the radio even in early teenage years toy town could not be ignored. I disliked intensely the TVs childrens programs I found them boring and too condescending ,but did like In Town Tonight, a program for adults and even then I loved the news, but preferred the radio to TV versions and still do. Hmmm I suppose that I did have strange tastes even at 7 or so.

I was never personally a lover of cartoons, but I must admit I have a liking for the adult cartoons - Family Guy, American Dad! etc, not to everyone's taste though

In the Night Garden----brilliant.

The Jetsons.
So much technology we use now I remember seeing on there.
Phones that enabled you to see the person on the other end being an example.

Scooby Doo. I'd watch this with my Mum.

Popeye & Foghorn Leghorn were all time favourites. Also many years later, whilst not a cartoon the animated version of Wind in the Willows, with David Jason's voice as Toad - absolutely priceless
