What are/were your favourite cartoons

just love the present Clangers. Its beautifully narrated - love watching it with my grandchildren!

I had never heard of the cartoons in the headline.

My favourite was Bugs Bunny, later I fell for the Road Runner

When I was three I loved Donald Duck, mainly because he had temper tantrums and got away with them, which I didn't.

For me it was always bill n Ben woodentops n Andy panda n noddy they don’t make em like those

As a very small child l loved Camberwick Green, Trumpton and Chigley. I was also a big fan of The Herbs. I had a Herbs annual and in the frontispiece there were two large flowers that you had to sniff in order to enter the magic garden (the rest of the book). I did this every single time. Does anyone else remember the Pogles of Pogles Wood or Bizzy Lizzy? Sooty with Harry Corbett was great fun and l went twice to see him at the theatre. As l grew older there was Playaway, Animal Magic, Vision On and l was a big Blue Peter fan with the immortal John Noakes, Peter Purves and Lesley Judd.

I loved Top Cat. My daughter liked The Flumps. I remember one episode were one of the Flumps had a cloud over her head because she was in a bad mood. It helped me explain about moods.

The first cartoons I saw in a book owned by an Uncle as a child was Felix the Cat. Always used to read it whilst on holiday in my aunt and uncles house.

The first cartoons in the cinema was Cinderella - Walt Disney

The first cartoons on television was Popeye.

Bagcat, or as my DD said; "Cat Bag". We still say "Heave, heave heave" when moving things and can sing "We will fix, we will fix it" (or "We will mend it" as appropriate!)

When I read Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew I was reminded of Hairy McClary of Donaldson's Dairy, much loved by all my GCs.

I loved Rag, Tag and Bobtail, but I was always an animal lover. I was brought up in a big town in the West Midlands so not much chance to see nature there and wished I could live in the countryside. I do now.

Trumpton, Chigley, Camberwick Green, Bagpuss (big fat furry cat-puss), Ivor the Engine, Mr Benn - snuggled up on the sofa with my two children - happy days. Sorry - different generation, but I also loved watching Timmy Time with the GCs - a lovely gentle programme.

Lupin I forgot about Top Cat .... which I loved and remember in the mid 1960's.

How could I forget Captain Pugwash . I actually have the theme tune as my ringtone

Yogi Bear and Booboo anyone? We had fun imitating the voices. My grandsons like a Yogi Bear DVD I have.

Being a cat lover I liked Tom and Jerry. When did Top Cat start?

My two granddaughters aged nearly 2 and nearly 4 are both fans of Camberwick Green, Trumpton and Chigley. My son bought the DVDs for them, and their limited TV time is divided between those 3, Peppa Pig and a German cartoon about a little dormouse called Bobo.
