Hi there! Totally understand how you feel! I moved back to my home town to care for my father. By that time, my friends had either died or moved away. For reasons I won't go into, I have no family contact and live alone. Thing is, I was an only child, so am used to solitude and my own company. I have met a few people and had lunches and coffees but, it seems like hard work, sometimes, to cram a lifetime's story into a short space of time. Do I want to???
I do have some VERY good friends, the nearest lives 300 miles away and the farthest in Australia! I've just got used to it. Be grateful for your family and look on friends as a bonus.
The land is dry, and the people are ...stupid?
Why can't I wear this to a wedding?
Hexham - is it a nice place to retire to - cousin retiring there?
