Bambi and Dumbo when I was about 4!
Most recently The Light between Oceans, book and film.
But many others over the years. The Divided Heart, Midnight Cowboy, Gladiator, Sophie’s Choice and really almost anything with children in it! Even tv adverts!

I remember going to see Soldier Blue at the cinema when I was a student. Cried all the way home in the bus. I was the same after Love Story.

Inn of the Sixth Happiness about Gladys Aylward's life was another tear-jerker.

I was very privileged to meet and speak with her when she came to Bradford.
I was a teenager and very impressed by her courage as at that time, I too dreamed of being a missionary to China.

I don't know if the baby in her arms (George) was the young man she brought with her to St. George's Hall but he was a fine looking boy.

Midnight Cowboy. I watched this with my boyfriend who was terminally ill. It was the last date we ever had.

Oh, Juliet27 and MiniMoon, I don't know how I skipped Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet when I made my list! Best friend and I saw the movie 5 times. The last time we were sitting outside at the drive-in and started sobbing during the music in the opening credits! These days I tend to go for comedies and more uplifting fare. I cry too much about things going on in the real world these days...

Anniebach, yes! Sophie's choice. WHAT a film. Meryl Streep at her finest. As others have said, of course, ET. I cry at anything vaguely happy or sad actually. Always blub my way through Long Lost Family as well.

YES. One of my earliest memories of watching black and white TV on a Sunday afternoon in the sixties. Also crying with laughter at some films. The bit when Micheal Pallin stutters in A Fish Called Wander. no offence to anyone with a stutter.

Oh yes minimoon - Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet. I cried all the way home after that.

Someone mentioned Shadowlands. I'd forgotten that one. It's really sad.

Truly madly deeply has me in tears every time. Juliet Stevenson playing that piano and crying is enough to finish me off.

Have cried buckets during many of the already mentioned films, plus The Good Earth, Jean de Florette, Ethan Frome and Toy Story 4.
