Good morning from East London, it’s bright and sunny and promising to be hot. Meeting a friend for a walk and lunch, then back to the building site. Have a good day.

Good morning all from a hot, sunny Malta.

Marydoll, your poor SiL! What a nightmare for her. Travel can be a real endurance test at times. Hope she has recovered.

Maw, I’m so envious of your garage clear out. Mine has been pending since I moved into this place three years ago blush I don’t suppose your man would like to come to Malta to sort mine?grin

No particular plans for the day. My visiting friend leaves tomorrow, so I dare say we will have a stroll out for a coffee and then see where the mood takes us.

Wishing a good day to all, love and hugs for those who need it. sunshine

Morning Mick, morning All from an already very warm and humid corner of Somerset. Meeting friends for coffee then finding a shady spot to watch the world go by. Dreadful journey for your sister in law marydoll, you sound exhausted, please look after yourself. Congratulations on your anniversary lins. Good luck with the garage mawb, bit warm for that sort of thing. Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone.

Welcome back Mick and morning to you all. Weather is scorching here in Spain at the moment Urmstongran so it will be home from home for you! Trip to the beach today with friends for a picnic so absolutely no housework - I’m turning into a right Dirty Gertie as my DH calls me!

NanKate Tue 23-Jul-19 07:15:44

Lins ?

Morning Mick welcome back and All.

A mist is hanging over the Forest today before the real heat arrives. We had a change of plan yesterday and went to the coast which was busy with families playing on the beach, swimming and eating ice-cream. DH managed to get his kite flying, he says it is for the grandsons but I am not so sure. So today we are going to the lovely Furzey Gardens lots of trees and benches to get some respite from the sun.

Hope your day turns out well Mary looking after little ones and coping with lack of sleep is not easy.

Good Morning from an already warm S Welsh coast.

Hydrotherapy session this morning and looking after DS's little dog. It is our wedding anniversary today- 42 years, where did that go, maybe we will have lunch out later.

Your poor Sil Marydoll, that was an horrendous journey for her.

Have a pleasant day everyone and keep cool ?

Good morning all from N Bucks where it is very still , sadly missing yesterday’s breeze.
What a nightmare journey Marydoll your poor sister in law.
Busy day today, my cleaner (a man) is coming to do a garage clear out/tidy for me so I will be mucking in too and lots of trips to the dump are planned.
(Feel tired thinking about it already)
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

Morning Mick and all. Glad your weekend went well Mick looking forward to reading more. My weekend went well also lots of laughs and good food. Sun shining here in Kent bit of domestics today. Enjoy your day everyone what ever you are doing.

Marydoll Tue 23-Jul-19 06:55:27

Good morning Mick and all from a muggy Glasgow, where it's already 18°C.
Glad to see you are home safely, Mick.

I had a terrible night's sleep, don't know where I'm going to find the energy to look after DGD today. sad

Yesterday was quite stressful. My recently bereaved sister in law left London at 8am yesterday and it took her twelve hours to get home to Glasgow, as the power lines were down on the West Coast line and all the trains were stuck at Preston. At one point the police were involved as everyone was getting so frustrated. sad
No fun in yesterday's heat. At one point, we thought we were going to have to drive south to get her. It took four trains and a taxi to get home.

A day for the garden I think! Hairdresser's later, so Papa will be in charge and I will chill out! grin.

Enjoy your day, whatever your plans.

Good morning everyone from a gloriously sunny South Manchester. These next few days will help transition to the hot August in Spain as we fly back to Malaga on Saturday till mid September.

We are minding the smalls today. I’ve just been brought tea and toast in bed but I’d best get a wriggle on!

Nice to have you back opening up Mick and I hope you enjoyed your long weekend in Yorkshire.

Hope Tuesday is kind to us all whether we have plans or none. x

Good Morning everyone.
I can’t see over the river it’s a bit misty and a hot day forecast.
I’ll run an errand, then go swimming and have a day out of the he sun and do some hand sewing on my craft project.
Looking forward to hearing your travel tales Mick.

Have a lovely day and remember to wear your sun hat ?
