Agree maw, the news of the child at Tate Modern sent shivers down my spine. Our Littlest also talks to anyone within hearing distance. How to balance natural friendliness and safety is a worrying tightrope.
Cornerland is grumpy with tiredness and has its frustrations today. Yesterday morning I noticed a phone wallet by the side of the road, phone , cards cash and all sorts inside. No address.
We were off to catch a coach for a day out. Both imagining the owner’s panic and worry once at the bus stop I tried 101 to report it was safe if on its way out of town for the day. No luck, not permitted to report ‘found’ things, they have to be taken to a police facility. I then tried the emergency number for one of the cards in the hope the bank would tell it’s customer. No luck, without a date of birth couldn’t navigate the phone system.
So this morning we’ve driven 6 miles, paid over £3 to park the car to deposit it at our nearest police drop in facility. Of course the right thing to do but what a frustrating process. When did life get so complicated
. We did manage a coffee afterwards and yesterday was good if exhausting so not all bad
Beautiful photos grannyq and soop, so sorry about the house sale panache, chin up, you’ll get there. One of ours is always late barmyoldbat, I plan for it now
.
Doesn’t a good nights sleep make the world a better place izabella? I’m jolly tired today so taking more notice of life’s frustrations. Thinking of you today with your pre op assessment dragonfly, hope it has been reassuring. Good to see you back Greyd.
Right, tasks calling. We’ve got two of our young ones here for the next two days, I could probably fill a skip with the ‘stuff’ on their beds at the moment so had better get clearing.
TOYA, I’ll try to be less grumpy next time I pop in.
