Pouring with rain here in Surrey. DD1 and SIL gone for a long weekend in New York so DD2 has taken grandchildren camping for weekend, hope it’s dryer where she is but she is in a camper not a tent thank goodness

I am settling in a new cat so can’t have windows or doors open on case she escapes whilst panicking so am glad of some cooler weather as have had to have the fan on so we don’t get too hot. Hope you all can get out and about, apart from getting the papers later I am staying in.

Good Morning All.
Skies are looking greyish and it's quite windy In Cheshire.
I think there might be rain again.

Well this is my second attempt at this - had it all ready to post then one of the cats leapt onto my Kindle and everything disappeared!

Good morning all from a sunny Northampton. Hope Mick is enjoying Yorkshire.

Nothing planned for today, but I may walk up to the garden centre as I need a new hard brush for the garden. I may also look at bedding plants if any are left. I did not bother with planting my pots up earlier as I knew I would be away.

My house cats will be encouraged to come out into the garden for some fresh air; they are not very adventurous and usually lurk under the bushes waiting for anything to come into view - birds, butterflirs, insects - and then they usually unsuccessfully pounce!

Hope everyone enjoys a good Saturday.

Good morning from East London, it’s been tanking it most of the night but sun is trying hard now to break through. Enjoying the peace and no pressure this morning - as no builders due to arrive. No plans for today although I’ll probably feel in need of a treat to stir me on with the clearing away. Have a good day.

Good morning everyone from a damp Essex by the sea. We had torrential rain in the night together with thunder and lightning. The sun seems to have been and gone this morning.
No real plans today but I'm sure we we find somewhere to go.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. The rain seems to have stopped but it's not the best day for a barbeque which was on the agenda.
I am baking and will pick soggy
flowers later to decorate our café tables.
Hope everyone, including Mick has a braw weekend.

Thank you, Beechnut and good morning to you, and to Michael in absentia - I had forgotten for the moment that Mick is up here with us Tykes this weekend!
A dull start to the day in South Yorkshire with a few spots of rain. DD is coming round for dinner this evening as her menfolk are away for the weekend, so I have some prep to do for that and not much else. I have had a broken night, so may find an hour to put my feet up this p.m. Have a good day folks!

Good morning Beechnut, well done for taking the plunge and opening up the thread whilst Mick is off on his jollies.

It is very hot today so I am taking my friend, who is visiting from the UK, to the beach. I rarely go so it will be a change of scene.

Went to a friend’s 70th birthday party last night. It was very nice but quite sobering to see how many of us are widows.

Hope you all enjoy your Saturday whatever you are doing.sunshine

Morning Beechnut thanks for opening up for Mick.

At our New Forest cottage. Can see rabbits, variety of birds and waiting for ponies to arrive all just outside our window.

Off to Lymington this morning for provisions, then Beaulieu Fete this afternoon and maybe a bbq supper by the harbour tonight. ?

Have a good day folks.

Good Morning everyone.
A sunny damp start here today. I hope it dries up as I want to do some path weeding.
Off to the library to pick up a reserved DVD and then a small shop.

I hope you all have a lovely day whatever you get up to ?

Thanks Beechnut I’ve had a cuppa and was waiting ....
?
Good morning everyone from sunny South Manchester. A busy day ahead but looking forward to it. Our birthday boy grandson (now 7y) has his party at lunchtime ‘Jump Ninjas’ and we will be going along to keep an eye on his toddler 2y old sister.

Then at teatime the family are booked in for a meal at his favourite Italian restaurant.

Hope Saturday is good to us all, whether we have plans or none. x

Just opening up.
