My guilty pleasures are playing Facebook games and watching Love Island and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!.... there, I've confessed....

My guilty pleasure is the internet, i am addicted to it and over winter when the excuse is - no need to tend to the garden, i spent days on the internet getting up to shower and eat and not much else. I subscribe to every newspaper world wide, that takes a lot of reading, read book reviews, theatre reviews, and on it goes, the list is endless, and just before bed i watch UTube - comedy or a film - though deep down i wish i got out and used a gym again, or took myself to see a matinee show in the west end - and if i have visitors i find it intrusive though don't show it - i have become what i call - weird !!!

Love eating chocolate (especially the Lidl equivalent of Mars), I like to eat chocolate with a mug of tea so it really does melt in the mouth! Love to do this whilst reading in bed, or watching the Handmaid's Tale ( the 3rd series is the gloomiest yet), but I have to see it thru until the end, the chocolate helps!!

I don't feel guilty about a single thing.

Buying fabric, I have a sewing room full! If I live to be 150 I doubt i'd use it all. Now signed up to have a table at 2 fabric destashes coming up soon. Must then somehow stop myself replacing any that I sell . . .

Pottering in the garden instead of doing the housework.
Buying books from charity shops. About 300 waiting to be read! I keep a list of books by my favourite authors in my handbag. Trouble is my stock is growing faster than I can read them.

I'm not guilty about my pleasures! Too busy enjoying them.

Like Gabriella, I was born without a guilty gene (despite being raised Catholic)!

I guess it would be chocolate though!

Sara65 Buying books, I’ve got piles

I always thought you got that from sitting on concrete, not from reading.....

SynchroSwimmer Wed 17-Jul-19 22:47:37

Sauna and swim at the gym....
Followed by 2 pints of homemade iced coffee, feet up, in the garden staring at the distant horizon...

KatyK Wed 17-Jul-19 22:42:36

Cheese and onion crisp sandwiches.

Urmstongran Wed 17-Jul-19 22:35:27

Secret mini bags of Turkish delight and chocolate gingers from Thornton’s in my bedside cabinet.

I go into the bedroom to watch a DVD (my husband and I have different tastes in films - he likes shoot ‘em up with noisy car chases and I like films about relationships ‘Manchester by the Sea’ and ‘Can you ever Forgive Me? etc that he would hate) .... then I settle down on the bed to enjoy my secret chocolates that I won’t share. Naughty me.

Walnut halves plus a few grapes about 4 or or 5 times a day.

Putting on my pjs anytime after 5pm.

Avoiding housework at all costs, but I do keep the kitchen clean.

Sara65 Wed 17-Jul-19 20:31:28

Buying books, I’ve got piles I haven’t read, and I won’t allow myself to read them out of order, so I’m usually about a year behind what everyone else if reading

My guilty pleasures are searching the property sites for the wonderful and expensive home by the sea I'll buy when I win the lottery - I'm just nosey. I will stop and do a sudoku puzzle anywhere I see one, no matter what I'm in the middle of doing. I also search online music libraries and buy/or add music tracks (mp3s) to add to my Amazon music collection. I also waste time compiling playlists. Aldi's white chocolate mousse bars don't last long in this house as they are my food treat.
