That chap, behind and to the left of the one in the green jacket.

If he coughs and those shirt buttons can't take the strain, he'll have someone's eye out.

And is Mrs Federer wearing her nightie, or gone into Stepford Wives mode?

I know they both played brilliantly but still I'm sad for Roger. Thanks for the thread. Nice to have GN to share the excitement with.

Well done!! Good game. Sad about Fed though.

Phoenix ??

phoenix Sun 14-Jul-19 19:08:11

We're on our second bottle, and Mr P isn't even interested in tennis shock

merlotgran Sun 14-Jul-19 19:07:57

grin

Whitewavemark2 Sun 14-Jul-19 19:04:39

What time does Poldark start?

Whitewavemark2 Sun 14-Jul-19 19:02:14

Depressed☹️

annep1 Sun 14-Jul-19 19:01:32

Minniemoo true.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 14-Jul-19 19:01:09

Bloody hell

annep1 Sun 14-Jul-19 19:00:31

Cheese and biscuits. Why didn't I think of that! Oh nooo tiebreak. Djokovic will win.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 14-Jul-19 19:00:25

You could buy quite a lot with £100 million and that’s just the winnings ?

merlotgran Sun 14-Jul-19 19:00:03

This is as bad as a penalty shoot out. sad

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 18:58:48

If one of those players were my husband I would need a gallon of Rescue Remedy

Whitewavemark2 Sun 14-Jul-19 18:57:28

I’ve just got cheese and biscuits and poured a glass of red.
That will have to do.

Minniemoo Sun 14-Jul-19 18:56:56

Amazing match. I feel quite faint. I do wish that the crowd would not cheer Novak's errors quite so much. Federer is clearly the favourite of the crowd but without Novak they wouldn't be enjoying this amazing tennis.

EllanVannin Sun 14-Jul-19 18:55:33

I've got Miss Marple on as I can't stand too much excitement.

annep1 Sun 14-Jul-19 18:51:18

I agree younger player has advantage unfortunately.
I would love to be there too. Cheers Grammaretto
And yes, Roger has more supporters. he doesn't bounce the ball

merlotgran Sun 14-Jul-19 18:49:35

I'm staaaaaarving. I've been trying to persuade DH to make me some cheese on toast but he's not listening.

I think I've drunk what's left of the gin!

Whitewavemark2 Sun 14-Jul-19 18:36:54

I feel exhausted. The trouble is the longer it goes on the greater advantage to the younger player

Grammaretto Sun 14-Jul-19 18:36:41

I'm glad I'm watching but wish I was there. Very exciting.
I think Roger has more supporters. Glass of flat prosecco just downed.

annep1 Sun 14-Jul-19 18:34:00

Best match ever! imo.

annep1 Sun 14-Jul-19 18:31:53

I feel sorry for them playing so long..but then its their choice. But a great afternoon's viewing.

annep1 Sun 14-Jul-19 18:30:11

Oh the stress. I'm on my second glass of wine. And I'm sick of Djokovic bouncing that damned ball ( and that's not the word I'm using at home!! His wife's dress .weird. prob cost a bomb too.

MiniMoon Sun 14-Jul-19 18:24:17

Doh! I spoke too soon.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 14-Jul-19 18:23:56

Oh dear
