I saw the Seekers farewell concert a few years ago in Belfast. Fantastic. I play it on youtube when having a bath.
James Taylor still fantastic.
Art Garfunkel not as good as when young but still loved him. Springsteen still wonderful according to my husband.
Don McClean was just awful - left before the end.
Leonard Cohen. ..well what can I say. Saw him 3 times a few years ago Sligo Dublin Belfast 2010 onwards. I just wish he was here to go again.?

Saw Diana Ross at Wembley few years ago on a circular stage everything was going really well great songs etc then she unfortunately caught her dress in her shoe and went flying off the stage. I’m ashamed to say I nearly pi***d myself.
Also saw Roger Daltry walking up Oxford Street (back in 60’s) wearing brown leather trousers legs looked like two sticks of liquorice. Didn’t stop me loving the music though.

I saw John Lydon (Johnny Rotten - Sex Pistols) about 3 years ago.
It was cringe worthy, to say the least, although some might say he was always, well, rotten!

Good you enjoyed your concert. I saw Rod Stewart live for the first time a few weeks ago. He can still sing too, amazing.

I've ways been a Diana Ross fan. Saw her at Wembley in late '70s , what an amazing night and again when wesaw her in about 2005. Last saw her c2010 sadly I wouldn't go again. Het voice is not the same and the performance just did'didn't live up to expectations.

Many, many years ago I saw them perform Tommy at the Manchester University Union. They were brilliant (and not expensive).

Did they smash up anything?

I have heard that they are brilliant, live. smile

Just back from The Who concert at Wembley ((DH’s 72 birthday treat). They were amazing! Entertained energetically for 2 and a half hours. Roger Daltry’s voice is still good. Any other GNers go?
Have any of you been to see any of your favourites from your youth and did they live up to expectations or disappoint?
